I thought they were going to release something new for the Diablo anniversary last week? I checked in game last night and didn't find anything new.

It'll probably come with the patch, unless the patch dropped already. Then maybe release is for the new season? No idea honestly. I'll just play it whenever all the fanfare happens :p

People were expecting the patch by this afternoon, at the latest it should be implemented by Friday for the new season.

Looks like they are dropping some nice Diablo I stuff which is really what catapulted me in to PC Gaming. (Thought I have to give credit to Tie Fighter, Doom, and the Quest for Glory Series) but I may have to re-install for this stuff. I wouldn't even know where to start but I "had" some nice characters at one time but i'm sure they're pretty irrelevant today.

- Players who avoid death in a Greater Rift will be rewarded with one additional chance to upgrade their Legendary Gems!
- Greater Rift monster distribution has been spread out more evenly, and the size of each floor is now more consistent. On average, a rift should take between two to four floors to clear
- Leaping enemies like Winged Assassins, Punishers, Lacuni Huntresses, and Burrowing Leapers can now be slain in mid-air
- Enemies with unattackable phases like Sandsharks, Snakemen, and Rockworms will spend less time avoiding you
- Enemy affixes have been tweaked, including updates to Shielding, Reflects Damage, and Electrified. In addition, an entirely new affix, Juggernaut, is entering the fray.

Also since I h ave to reinstall should I wait till after patch for 64 bit client? Or does it really matter? I'm guessing new season starts Friday?

Dear god please make Reflect low enough that I don't kill myself half the time before I get good enough gear to heal through it....

So this is today? I suppose nothing official yet. Re-installed it last night, and ready to go!

No idea what class is gonna be great this Season though.

Season starts Friday, patch is expected today. Patches are never on season day I don't believe, to avoid instability issues.

no idea what else has changed in the game, havent played since WW barbs were a thing previously I think
