Some good changes, especially on the element part, they really needed to do that shit before they released but eh. Demon Hunter only change seems like shit, making the passive into a generic monk passive, dex into armor, it's alright I guess but I liked the dodge one for farming specific higher torment shit where you don't get hit often like when you're vaulting very fast.

Monk Bell buff seems pretty nice, might become viable again haven't checked the numbers, but that's a pretty solid buff to a skill that really needed it.

Witch Doctor changes are really strong it seems. Zombie Handler now doesn't suck as much even though I doubt people will run it still, Fetish Sycophants was pretty much buffed even though you can't firebats in town anymore to build an army and shit on a boss instantly, Fierce Loyalty is INSANELY FUCKING GOOD since it's basically 30%movespeed when ooc all the time, Dogs also buffed by quite a lot. Really like these changes, very good buffs.

Crusader buffs look mostly really good, especially the passive changes are fucking awesome. Removing the nephalem shit, giving a 1H passive instead, making Holy Cause work on every build, buffing every shield block skills, giving an additional very strong way to generate wrath through blocks, it's really great. There is however a huge nerf with Judgement Resolved only being 20%crit instead of 80%crit, so I think this one isn't going to be used anymore. They also removed the nephalem globe law sadly. Also Akkarat was fairly nerfed so if you had the full set bonus, I don't think you're gonna see much of an improvement from the patch. No more movespeed akkarat, no more cooldown reduction akkarat. Does have a better effect now but meh. Also doesn't rez you anymore which is pretty annoying but I guess they added a passive for HC crusaders instead.

Oh right missed that one since they hadn't changed the tooltip. Makes sense to nerf it though, it was fairly broken, and they buffed the fire one a decent bit, while also adding a fire rune to like bombardment and you get 15%cdr 15%attackspeed for using the blessed shield 1H now so yeah. And a lot of buff to other stuff as you said, Blessed Hammers look like they might actually be usable now with that damage buff, they rebuffed Fires of Heaven to its prenerf value too(and Law of Valor cost reduction has a 30secs cd now instead of 45).

The witch doctor changes.... very nice. About time they give us a good group buff. Fierce Loyalty, fucking love it and it will make running bounties 100x quicker. Now I can stop blowing shards on a shukrani triumph.

Getting fetishes to proc off ANY WD spell is a tectonic shift for all WD, not to mention doubling the proc chance. Even with full zuni's I'd have to rebuild for optimizing passive fetish gen again. The possibilities with my dusting off my jade set to try it with passive fetishes and/or trying a fetish/cold or fetish/zbear build are just tremendous. They really bumped up a lot of build diversity with that one change.

Hmm a sweep build with Golden Flense seems like it could be incredibly useful with the new gathering sweep. That combined with a Fires of Heaven build could make for a really entertaining build. With the patch I might try T6 on my HC crusader.

Current tooltip is wrong, it's doing 333%.


I wonder if the dots from blazing sweep or fire starter stack. Either way, permanent akkarats is still the end goal, it's either that rune more wrath regeneration, or attack speed.

Shame that even after buffing, crusader single target is still meh. I don't understand the changes to fist. Why make it more initial impact but not enough to stand out versus holy shotgun or combust?

Hmm if you use the shield slam shield, the single target damage with it is pretty absurd with the new values. Think they fucked up on the values on these though so will need to see the actual values, but pound seems it will do 1200%+500%block(I think the fuckup is how it says the base skill will do that), with a 50%block chance that's 250% more or 1450% for 15wrath(with the shield). Granted it's pure single target but that's a fairly absurd amount for a single target skill. If you look at for example Impale from DH, it's single target too and it does half the damage and the hatred cost isn't that low either while 15wrath is basically 2nd lowest. I think if you use a no wrath build with blessed shield, you could easily fit Shield Bash Pound as your spender and just dump whatever wrath you have for single target burst, it regenerates slowly inbetween elites on trash and then you can dump on mobs with it.

Fist of Heaven's values are still fucking weird and mostly shit. At least there's a fire one now but don't see why you'd use it over combust even if you don't have the blessed shield flail. Costs too much wrath for the damage it does.

Pretty insane changes. Glad to have more end game content created by forcing us to regear due to their heavy-handed changes!

Will definitely take a while to process. Although now I think my previous life goal of 5/6 Akkhan's is no longer a goal for my Crusader, which is a relief.

I was thinking of playing this again while I wait for Wildstar to come out and when my guildies aren't on to queue PVP in Wildstar. If I was starting from the beginning right now, without buying RoS, what class would be the fastest to level up and see all the end game changes? What class is easiest to farm items on at the end of the game?

ill have to see what the changes look like in game, I doubt ill pick my crusader back up but who knows.

I still think they are the class that's going to require the highest gear to scale correctly with other classes, my WD/wiz/barb all wear junk from my bank, and I can easily do t3 on those. just looking at that gear comparison where my crusader proably has BIs for most areas idk, but my other classes are just hand me downs and they perform so much better than my crusader, still think it needs a lot of work.


Anything but crusader I would say is ok to start off with, I think WD is fairly easy to level up gear up because of the pets, wizards are glass cannons same for DH, then theres monk but honestly just pick whatever you feel likes going to be fun, everyone is viable in the end with the right gear of course, crusader just needs 10x the gear of everyother class to perform on the same level.

I got one of those in the bank ill have to whip it out and give it a spin, let me know what your build ends up looking like, im glad I saved every crusader weapon I got still missing BoP though since the nerf to shield throw my foote is useless so unless I wanna go back to maximus, ill have to try and farm a BoP.
