So far...

Pretty solid effort on their part.

60-70 goes really fast. Hour or so. I don't bother with seasons. I don't play often enough to make a fleet of disposable characters, but prefer to work on one. Eternal is fine for this.

They took some loaned power from previous seasons and sprinkled them into skill tree revamp and talismans. Again, fine for eternal. Seems like talismans going to be the big source for power gains.

Horadric Cube is fine. I haven't used it for anything other than screwing around with talismans and trying to get boss loot. Lots of ways to fine tune your gear when you get to that spot.

War Plans is fine. More loot. I like the system to add points into whatever activities you do the most. Takes some boredom out of running shit over and over.

Echoing Hatred wave zone is fine. Lots of loot. Pretty quick, too.

New home area (Temis) is the way to go. Everything in one spot and no running ass off all the time.

I only started playing my main today. L70, blasted through campaign in 3+ hours. You need to nearly finish this to open up Horadric Cube, and have to finish to open up War Plans. I cheesed it and set difficulty to normal. I started L70 with old L60 gear. I had a lot of mythic stuff banked. Broke them down and replaced them all with new ancestral stuff. Seems like an oversight on their part.

Ended up the day in almost full ancestral mythics and legendaries, and a 2 GA Kepeleke. Just two IP 850 slots left to replace. T8, although boss fights take a while. back to having 100% uptime on fort/shields/resource gen.

Can't say much about the story, because I never pay attention to these things. Cinematics were ok, end ones were fucking on point. Pretty cool seeing my character in there and larger than a 2-inch high figure in the middle of the screen. Ending itself and cinematics almost worth the price of admission alone.

Their new leader has this thing pointed in the right direction.

Crazy to see this thread at the top of the page all the time now. Can we change the title to Diablo 4 the best game ever/ Even better than Poe?

Let’s not be hasty. It’s just good finally. It feels more like old school blizzard. Rest of the company is a fucking dumpster fire.

Is there some reason I can’t find aspect of the verdant restoration?
Pray to RNGusus more? Some are just stupid rare. Wiki says it's defensive, so you could try buying "defensive aspect" boxes from the follower vendor, if you have that unlocked. Otherwise, it can only be on helm/chest/pants/neck/shield, so can pick those boxes from the tree or gambling Oblos.

There are ways to make legos in the cube too, might want try that, although mats can be rarish, for some of them (never made a lego in cube, so no clue on mats or if it can use the "defensive" focus).

Can anyone explain how the upgrade system for Aspects works? Lets say the first one you get has a perk range of 10%-15%, and an upgrade amount of 10, so you're 1/10. Will the perk range slowly increase as you get more? And will the max'd out Aspect always give the max perk bonus? Reason I ask is that I got a useless weapon with a -much- better version of an Aspect I had been using; the one I'm using is 50%-70%, while the new one was 100%-120%. So I smashed it thinking it would bump up the Aspect in the Codex, but nope, I still get the same range option (50-70), but 4/11 needed.

Finished campaign. Was pretty good overall and the ending ramped up quite a bit.

Not feeling the Warlock playstyle though, think I will make a minion Necro now that the campaign can be skipped. Anyone got a good guide for one?

did you reapply the aspect after you salvaged the item at the blacksmith?
