"I can confirm we aren't working on a toilet simulator at this moment."

Publishing boss Michael Douse cleared things up on social media,
posting, "There aren't currently any plans for a new Divinity: Original Sin 3 game but once we are ready to show what we've been working on we will."
It's not DoS3, but the stone is obviously Larian based on that image.
I said this in the game awards thread. Prior to BG3, they pitched Bethesda a Fallout RPG and was denied. Since then, MS has bought Bethesda. BG3 was a massive success. Their next project Sven said is their most ambitious yet. DoS3 doesn't fit the bill for that compared to BG3, however a Fallout game back to the CRPG roots would.
It is copium, but fits the bill for
- Larian previously stating they are working on "new" IPs (new to Larian, doesn't mean IPs aren't old)
- One of the first "confirmed" rumors of the desert statue thing was that it was tied to Xbox/MS
- If Microsoft wanted any company to make a Fallout CRPG, it would be Larian after the BG3 success.
Granted, there is nothing about that statue that reminds me of Fallout. Snake coiling around demon/undead things (they don't look like ghouls) with a weird symbol. Fallout is wasteland, not supernatural.
Maybe going back to their roots for a Divinity (not DoS) open world ARPG not CRPG? Though that wouldn't fit with them working on a new IP. Though I hope they don't go away from CRPGs.
