Yeah, I loved the absolute shit out of DoS2 but I also burned out the moment I hit the last act for some reason. Restarting several times previously to settle on a group setup probably didn't help. Thankfully it will give me an easy excuse to revisit the game

Probably need to replay DOS:2 since we had a weird bug where the party members we kept after the end of Act 1 died anyway so we 2-man partied it the rest of the game and didn't get any of the cool character stories.

Loved both 1 and 2 but I didn't enjoy the magic armor and physical armor thing they went with in 2. Felt like the recast timers were too long to get through magic armor most of the time so I'd get half way through and run out of spells to cast and then just brute force my way through with physical. Also as someone else mentioned, the source abilities were annoying to use. Some of the fights were stupid hard without them but completely trivial with them

From memory the archers were OP as fuck. I ended up running 2 archers in my play through of 2.

please no more creepy trying to hit on team mates in the camp when yall trying to get some sleep
I don't know what the hell I did, but the black warlock man and bg3 woke me up and wanted to dance in the middle of the night, and I told him to fuck off. It was pretty jarring. I played the game at release, but it seemed like the nicer you were to everybody suddenly the gay got turned on to 11.

In Bg3? Wouldn't know, I'm never nice and treat everyone like a slave/meat shield. Story revolves around me, get with the program.

Publishing boss Michael Douse cleared things up on social media, posting, "There aren't currently any plans for a new Divinity: Original Sin 3 game but once we are ready to show what we've been working on we will."

It's not DoS3, but the stone is obviously Larian based on that image.

I said this in the game awards thread. Prior to BG3, they pitched Bethesda a Fallout RPG and was denied. Since then, MS has bought Bethesda. BG3 was a massive success. Their next project Sven said is their most ambitious yet. DoS3 doesn't fit the bill for that compared to BG3, however a Fallout game back to the CRPG roots would.

It is copium, but fits the bill for
- Larian previously stating they are working on "new" IPs (new to Larian, doesn't mean IPs aren't old)
- One of the first "confirmed" rumors of the desert statue thing was that it was tied to Xbox/MS
- If Microsoft wanted any company to make a Fallout CRPG, it would be Larian after the BG3 success.

Granted, there is nothing about that statue that reminds me of Fallout. Snake coiling around demon/undead things (they don't look like ghouls) with a weird symbol. Fallout is wasteland, not supernatural.

Maybe going back to their roots for a Divinity (not DoS) open world ARPG not CRPG? Though that wouldn't fit with them working on a new IP. Though I hope they don't go away from CRPGs.

If it's another CRPG, I was hoping for a new IP and setting.. something other than fantasy again. Maybe steampunk, cyberpunk, or similar.

I want a sci-fi CRPG. Fuck the high fantasy already. Gimme big lazer guns, gatling guns, grenade launchers, and other futuristic shit.

If Larian takes Fallout 5 backs to its CRPG roots, I'm gonna be the biggest little Larian coomer that ever existed. Nothing outside of Elden Ring 2 would have me more hyped.

Fallout has sucked ever since it was taken to a FPS, changemymind.
