So "The war between the Land and the Sea" looks like a Dr Who spinoff? At first glance, I don't see anyone playing the Dr.

Hell, I'll probably give it a chance. I've liked all the other Dr Who spinoffs I've seen so far. torchwood, Sarah Jane Chronicles, and Class.

Davies had sort of a Taika Waititi problem: If there is someone there to reign him in, then you can get a somewhat decent product. But if you just let them do what the fuck ever, you end up getting a mess that people don't like.

Although Campbell has mostly retired from acting and almost completely from the con circuit as he's dealing with some medical issues IIRC.
