I'm not sure of your experience, your hosting, nor what kind of money you're working with, but bandwidth costs can soar in just a few minutes given the right conditions. If you're not working with that much money it might be worth mitigating the risk by disabling attachments for now and using imgur and setting up alerts so you don't find yourself up shit creek financially.

Yeah I don't get it at all. But its been said enough times so there must be a huge draw to that thread from the web at large. I guess having a ton of random images of hot soft porn girls in one safe (lol), easy, accessible place that isn't an actual porn site and without any searching to get that kind of variety is a big draw. Might not even be for fapping, just guys looking at all the pics in general. I still don't get it, once upon a time it sounded like a good idea, but I can't remember the last time I opened that thread personally.

This. I don't come here for porn, and I think I can find reddit on my own. If it helps the long term survivability of the site just get rid of the image threads.

I third that, as well. Heck, just put a link at the bottom that sends users to a different site altogether for that section perhaps.

I'm not sure about all image threads.

The FSR is very entertaining. PGT I've hardly visited though.

Rerolled is operating on my network's servers that we already pay for and the current bandwith seems to be within our dedicated servers capabilities. From what I understand the real cost will come down to our CDN usage which is most of the images.

I say we just drop the PGT and keep FSR. Honestly- if people want PGT they can go back to donkey land for the 5minutes it takes.

If we doing that might as well drop FSR and put a link to reddit up.

If they were only able to be seen by registered viewers how much would that cut down on bandwidth?

I check out the PGT every once in a while - maybe once or twice a month - more if I'm not dating. What can I say I guess I'm one of those weird guys who likes looking at pictures of naked chicks now and then. I didn't come here for the PGT but I'd be curious if anyone came for the PGT stayed for screenshots. You've got to do some recruiting to keep a site healthy and PGT is a recruiting device for screenshots. I say find a way to keep it.
