I realized that the next big tournament is at columbus which is very close to me. I'm debating on going to check it out but I'm not sure if it'd be worth it. A regular ticket is about 35 or 50 at the door. Has anyone gone to one of these and Is it worth going or did you get more enjoyment watching the matches online? I've been curious about the professional gaming scene but never went to a live event.

sutekh i don't know if its a good or bad thing we live in the same city. i have to work until 8 that friday but i'd go up right after and stay with friends for the weekend... i'm pretty tempted to do it. this isn't the type of thing that sells out where i should get a ticket now is it? looking at it 35 dollars isn't to high a price to check it all out do they have anything going on other then the matches themselves booths swag etc? also i'm assuming the atmosphere is pretty cool watching it in person huh?
