Musty Nester
Nah, I can see that. I loved ME1 but it was kind of a throwback like DA:O was. I loved the dunebuggy tank. That shit was hilariously fun. It was a major complaint of mine that it was underused in ME and then removed for ME2. The inventory was undeniably messy, but that was also a throwback to "i'm just gonna carry around fucking everything because reasons and I'm pretty sure that this gun here is a 1% upgrade to the other gun but, well, who knows really". A lot of that game was very clunky, and probably not 100% intentionally clunky, but it had a real and subtle sort of nostalgia effect which probably was intentional. These guys were making the game they remembered playing as kids, but IN SPACE.
I think it's fair to say that ME1 and ME3 were different games.
I didn't hate thetypeof game that ME3 was but if you prefer that type of game I do see how ME1 could lose a persons interest.
