About 22 hours into the game. Got to Skyhold, spent at least an hour going around talking to everyone. I thought it was interesting that they gave me chances to kick people out. haha. I still haven't found the respec person. I made Sera daggers, and Cole, but I want to change Sera back to bow, since I keep getting so many bows that say "Not Varric".
Decided to go back to Hinterlands, and started to complete quite a bit of things that I skipped. I know that it's been said to not 100% Hinterlands, but so far I've picked up about a dozen power, and 2 agents, which I'm not even sure what those are for. But glad I'm glad that I went back.
Will move to Crestwood next, as that's where the main story takes me. Games awesome.

I finally bought a PS4 this morning given the PC issues I mentioned upthread. I thought it was hilarious that I couldn't log on to PSN. Oh well, didn't stop me firing up the game which runs like absolute butter on the PS4 compared to this PC. Sony are not covering themselves in glory here given that Microsoft is back up. However, at the end of the day the blame should rest squarely on whoever is doing the DDOS. Not so much for myself but for all the little kids that will be disappointed they can't get to play their new games.

Main thing is, don't feel like you need to "complete" zones. Hinterlands, the first zone you get to, is HUGE and not meant to really be completed all at once. Do some of it, when you get enough "power" to advance the story, feel free to do that. You can go back to Hinterlands later, but sticking around in Hinterlands forever gets boring quick and makes you kinda outlevel the story.
When you use the war map and have to spend power, how do you know which one to do next? I had the option to open an area that cost 4 power, or 8 power. I tried the 8 power one first and loaded into an area with level 12 undead and they ate me. Then I didn't have enough power to open the other area. Thankfully I could load a save before spending any of those power points. In general, should I be 'buying' the areas of lower power cost first?
