Lotta people say that but I didn't see it. Let me ask, are you trying to figure out the iron tangle? He has a warning at the start of some editions of the book to not try to figure it out. It's supposed to be incomprehensible. TBH, I don't think Matt had it mapped out. I'm seeing a lot of people getting bogged down with that. Maybe because I listened to the audio book, it never activated my tism.

I rank is as one of my top 7 books in the series.

Yeah, it's definitely some of that and I also kind of feel like the beginning just started really slow after the really good ending for book 2 and was reading back to back to back. It's picking up a bit towards the end now - probably just needed a reset (read two different books between mid book 3 and now finishing book 3).

It's fun and easily digestable.

The tangle bogged me down. He warns you not to try to figure it out so I didn’t, but it got talked about a lot. So every time they’d be talking about it I’d be thinking why the fuck is this even in here if it doesn’t matter.

I think what matters about it is that it's all a big political cartoon about the apothecary. Or the krakaren. I can't remember if they're the same.

Well gang I am happy to report I was finally able to finish book 1 ! Really enjoyed it and went straight into book 2. Good stuff. Lots of laughing out loud moments.
