Finished it today, it really flew by. The pacing in this one was just pedal to the metal the entire time. Had some epic moments for sure.

Some how the first i've heard about this series was yesterday from a friend. Since then i've seen it pop up 4-5 different times on different forums, media, etc. I guess that's my sign to check it out.
I bought a Desperado Club DCC T-shirt and every time I have worn it so far I find someone that comments on it.

Crazy what he can do when they aren't leveling up and opening boxes all the time.

The more I think about it, the weaker the 10th floor was as part of the whole story. Especially the dynamic between the Crawlers and particularly Osvaldo. A lot of it seemed like an afterthought.

The 11th floor and its revelations really saved the book imo.

Yea, I didn't really care for the racing. If it were just floor 10 this would probably be among my least favorite books. At least he finished strong.

Just imagine how weak the floors are going to be when he has to do 3-4 in each book!

I think he's already foreshadowed a lot of that. Particularly Sheol (15) and 17. And probably 18 as well.

If I had to guess, the Ascendancy on the 12th will be the last real floor. As much as I’d like to see Sheol, I doubt we get more than a short visit ala 7 and 11.

With only two books left, and as important as the 12th *should* be, he just doesn’t have room.

Hes alluded to 16 being a shitshow as well (i think? I read these books so fast I gloss over some otherwise important details)

The AI says that Floor 15/Sheol shouldn't be a problem for them. Remember Sheol got emptied out into the other floors.

I thought the nothing got emptied out INTO Sheol (among other places)

It wasn't fully emptied out, but a shitload of demons and other nasties got pulled out of Sheol and into the dungeon. The Nothing was broken completely, hence the storage area that they were able to use in Book 8. That was Justice Light's trap.
