What'd he do, he a woke?

Bowing to public pressure and edited out the link. I know nothing except I saw a password somewhere and it worked (at first).

What should I be spending my currency on? None of the available items actually seem good, except maybe Besmirched Flame?
Long story short he cheats his viewer count by embedding his stream in his wiki that the community adds info to.

We've had to basically give up hope of a better wiki, but I won't support his scummy practice.

Waht's wrong with FExtralife? That YouTube channel is great. :emoji_thumbsup:
I think the big controversy was them autoplaying their stream on their guides pages? I trust fextra a lot more than Mortismal Gaming that had DA Veilguard as one of his games of the year.

They embed it on every single page of the entire wiki

Who cares?

However the wiki point is legit. His wikis fucking suck now.
It's just fucking annoying, and it's some scummy thing to inflate his twitch numbers too. Mostly the wikis suck, and he works hard to make sure they pop first in google results even when they're not good, which is the same issue Fandom has with their own shitty ad-riddled wikis. Sadly that's the only 2 wikis for Elden Ring too so it's Shitty and Shittier.

Anyone know optimized routes go? Went with a guy who seemed to know where the good shit was. I'm guessing you prioritize certain areas, and boss rush as often as possible? Maybe skip certain encounters.

Out of the 10 runs I did, the 3rd or 4th (can't remember now) was still the best one. Both people seemed to know where to go, and kept putting pins down for where we should go next, making everything simple. We still died to the cerberus at 50% health, of course, but we accomplished a lot more during the run and it was actually fun. Seems knowing a route is pretty much everything, which is why I suspect the game will be a lot easier in a week once more than 5% of the players know the good routes.

There are definitely incorrect places to go. Still a bit unsure on what the best ones are.

The castle with the pot throwing trolls is a no-fly zone though. Their drops suck cock and they give garbage for souls and that place is deadlier than anywhere else on the map.

The caves are extremely strong and absolutely shower you upgrade stones, but you need to get to them fast cause you'll get stuck in them and die to the circle.

Matchmaking doesn't function if you queue as 2 and try and grab a random 3rd. Fucking Japan is so baffling bad at online games it blows my mind.

You got that right. I am disappoint son.

I haven't sold the game yet. I'm not done / haven't given up until I sell the thing. Right about now it really does feel like a waste of time to play with my rapidly-dwindling mortality though.

The castle with pot-throwing trolls is horrible, yeah, as is the Redmane Guard camp with someone firing arrow rains from a tower. That one suckers you in with "a bunch of guards are a boss? This'll be easy" and then pastes you with Radahn-style arrow rains that track your movements for some reason.

Mines seem to be the best bet for where to go first. People always seem to go for them kind of late and then we get trapped and die literally every time.

So here is the strat me and my friend came up with. First night is more about leveling and collecting items through camps/forts. 2nd night is for hunting field bosses.

Does anyone know how you tell what boss you're fighting if you select all of the nightlords to que up? Me and a friend were duo so we selected all of them (because for some reason if you select 1 it doesn't que you up?) and the nightlord was some ice boss that apparently you need high resistances for and there is a buff you can get. However if we don't know what boss we're fighting it kind of makes selecting rewards impossible and meaningless.

Unlocked 2 more classes but I'm stuck on the Wylder. The sekiro movement is just so nice in a souls game where you can close instantly and get damage off.

Pretty convinced the sorceress chick is actively a troll pick. Her stats/HP are less than half the rest of the cast, and it seems like almost every offense magic from the base game is just randomly sprinkled on to staves, which means 90% of everything you pick up is entirely useless.

Unless you high roll and get rock sling or something she just...doesn't do anything?

Another thing I don't like is how most of the actual good weapons need a Somber stone to upgrade, and I never ever get those. I'll end up with a few regular stones at the end of a world and six weapons that can't be upgraded by it.

12 runs now, weird how often runs end with a boss at like 5% health. Well, that's another 20 minutes I'll never get back.

So many design choices here that I wouldn't have made. I managed to beat similar roguelike Returnal a few years ago, but mainly because I exploited backup saves to give myself actual checkpoints instead of starting the (3-5 hour long) game over every time I died.

Nope, Microsoft Family Security. He cannot access his PC in anyway unless I grant him time.
Wait until I tell him his dad used to hold down crypt camping hero cloaks for 48 hours straight while listening to classic music like Mrs Jackson on MTV

Well that's it for me, lucky #13, we got the cerberus down to basically nothing and fell to attrition due to nobody having any heals left (for like the last 50% of the fight lol). There goes another 45+ minutes with zero gains.

Maybe I'll try this again in a few months when everyone knows what they're doing (...and nobody's doing world 1 anymore).

Probably not though.
