How often are people crashing? I feel like it's about 2-4 times per hour, which seems awful. Fortunately I'm a native obsessive quicksaver so it honestly is just slightly annoying, but I wonder if that's the same for others.

On PS5, have had 2 or 3 crashes total with 55hrs played. All crashes seemed to be directly preceded by some sort of buggy issue, like inventory wigging out or an npc not knowing how to get out of somewhere.

I get the annoying GPU driver timeout and "Fatal!" error box about once every 3-4 hours.

I'm curious if other people have been finding the Ascension mods to actually be good. I like most of the changes, but it feels impossible to make any significant amount of gold with the mod removing things that "break the economy". I know alchemy and enchanted items are ridiculous in vanilla but if you completely remove those sources of gold (especially when combined with making items sell for less due to mercantile changes) then what is left? Low level gear has an absolutely terrible value/weight ratio, and the mod removes high level gear from random enemies, which is fine because that's the main reason I'm using the mod in the first place. But it still leaves me scratching my head and trying to figure out what exactly you're supposed to do to gain enough gold. Arena alone certainly isn't enough, and I'm not interested in using dupes/exploits. No idea why people waste time on that shit; if you want to cheat just type player.additem f 1000000 into the console and be done with it.

I looked at using the Lite version of the mods, but that leaves out many changes in the full version that I actually like. And I'm definitely not invested enough in the game to load up XEdit and manually go through all the changes in the main esp to pick and choose the good from the bad. Final option is to just grab the optional mod that reverts the potion sell values and abuse alchemy for all my gold needs. Before I do that I was just wondering if anyone else used the mods and found the early game gold issues to go away on their own after progressing more. I started over so my current save is only about 8 hours in.

Hmm, somehow in 1st person view I'm very tall all of a sudden, running into doors. Dafuq? Bugs in this game are hilarious.

EDIT: Ah, it's because of knockdown in 1pv. FIX:
Playing Oblivion in first-person with my Wood Elf… I felt like I was floating six feet in the air. I don't know if it's a bug or a Sheogorath gag, but the immersion was completely gone.

This is what I did and it worked: • Switched to third-person • Manually saved • Closed the game • Reopened it and loaded from the menu (NO "continue") • Went back to first-person… boom! Normal height.

Despite that, the remastered version is beautiful 🫶

Oh yeah, have a ring unequipped, can't equip it, says it's already equipped. Was after a night in jail to get to that dude who got 2-timed by his robber whore. The magic benefits I got. So... now I can wear 3 rings. Nice.
