Just about through everything. I feel like some of the level scaling is balanced, as this feels less difficult at lvl 30 plus than I remembered. However that may have to do with the new stat system at lvl up.

Damage reflect is still king at end game. Escutcheon of Chorrol is probably the best item to wait til 25 plus to snag as it gives 10en and 35 percent damage reflect that lvl.

Haven't found a ring of the iron fist or the amulet of blades/axes yet (random drops with+25 to that skill and 33 DMG reflect)

Spell leveling is a little different than before as it is far more efficient to craft the highest level mana cost spell you can use at the university and spam that, rather than spam cast a low spell. But making those spells makes it trivial to get all caster skills to 100 (major or not)

I'm also pretty sure invisibility (illusion spell) works differently with sneak now. As I think being completely invisible before prevented your sneak skill from going up. Now it does not.

Awesome game. Just need to finish the thieves guild and my only remaining trophy will be taking mania, rather than dementia, in the shivering isles.

Hahaha, now I cannot save. Said "you cannot save right now". Tried binding and rebinding keys, nothing. Love you Bethesda <3 Som 6h gaming gone, niiiiiice. Hmm, 7 saves came back. Funnily enough it was at lvl 24, got the almost best charrol shield, 30%. Don't want to reload. Meh. Lol, 1 1987

They need to do this with morrowind. Watching playthrus of this only remind me of how much better morrowind was. I remember being alll hyped to play this on release and after my third or fourth identical rift was like, wtf were they thinking

Morrowind is a better game, but the Shivering Isles stuff to me is the pinnacle of this studio's efforts and comes with the gamepass version of the remaster. Terrific, and better than the base game (which is better than I ever remember it being). I'd say for me Morrowind>Shivering Isles = Skyrim>Base Oblivion. The morrowind thing may just be nostalgia, haven't replayed in a very long time.

Morrowind is a weird one to replay, for me at least. That game was so amazing when I first played it, sucked away hours of my life, and I still have never fully beat the main story line. Going back years later definitely smudged it a bit, though largely just because my impression of the scale of the game kind of imploded. I was also way younger and still a relative novice to video games when I first played it, so you lose some of the magic when you come back and can better see how the hotdogs are made.

I still want a remastered Morrowind like no other now. The Oblivion Remaster has been wonderful, but giving me the hope to see a Morrowind remaster on the same scale is either going to be its greatest achievement or its biggest folly if they don’t go that route.

Oblivion seems to be doing pretty well so I'd think morrowind is a sure fire thing at this point.

Personally I was more engaged with fallout 3 and new vegas. But hell I'll take anything as long as it's well done.

You will be happy to know that FO3 remake is a few years into development already. It was revealed a while ago in some court documents.
