Why the fuck do they have to stay true to the lore? Who fucking cares if they change tropes from generic fantasy?

It's like people being pissed if every vampire story doesn't involve pale skin or fangs. If they bend the tropes and produce a compelling world, more power to them and here's a stack of cash so I don't have to sit in a shitty RA Salvatore wanna-be world.

You could have shown me that dragon without telling me where it was from and I'd have sworn it was from WoW.

I care about how it plays not how it looks.

Considering they likely kept the art and animation work in addition to a lot of other stuff, it shouldn't be a surprise how it looks. They already said the old game was to much like wow.

The key is in how it plays not how it looks.

Because that's what they built the franchise off of you stupid fuck. What if I take your favorite movie or television series and just change everything about the story and history of the characters? Would you like that? No you wouldn't.

Some of us like the story in ourrole playing game.

I think this is on the marketing heads, but I could be wrong and it really IS the artists. I could see a conversation where certain races and features of those races won't appeal to many demographics and even turn off others.

It's perfectly acceptable in a reimagining of the world of Norrath to make another NPC a different class. If it was the same in every detail it would be EQ reskinned. That is what a lot of folks seem to want. I keep telling you, that's not what EQN is.

All those old animation videos is exactly what the game looks like. Better get used to it.
