I wouldn't place money on it.

Although I will say that looking at places like mmorpg.com, the hyperbole, wailing, and rending of garments is even more extreme than here. Sure, there's plenty of "looks like WoW" here, but at least there isn't much in the way of extrapolating it out to mean that it's a mechanical wow-clone around here. Some, but it's at least not the dominant narrative.

The speculation doesn't matter worth a shit anyway. The game will be fun / interesting to you or it won't. When the reveal comes the retardation will either get ramped up or people will be genuinely pumped up. All of this other shit will be forgotten.

I agree. Wildstar and ESO don't interest me at all. But I've always loved EQ so I'm looking forward to what they do. I have some expectations but I'm also realistic.
