I'm gonna play FFXIV, Wildstar or EQN. One of those is the last hope for the foreseeable future. Otherwise, single player RPGs and consoles for me.

I want wildstar to succeed just because it would be nice to have more MMO-FPS's out there. I remember wanting to try Fallen Earth but never got around to it.

MMOs are so big that it's like blind people touching an elephant. Some will see the Northrend art, others big shoulder armor, others the minimap. I would say in general in games you come for the looks and stay for the gameplay.

Yeah its going to be amazing when people get into wildstar and see the quests that I'd rate below even Tera for quality. Just many many many more of them.
MMO FPS? Plenty of tab targeting in Wildstar not sure what the hell he is talking about.
Just about everything else coming out will be a better buy than Wildstar. Unless of course you are just absolutely enamored with the most devoid of anything original questing.

eeg got wildstar mixed up with firefall. But I want wildstar to succeed too. A lot of people hate on WoW but unless something else comes along soon to capture people, the entire genre could just fade.
I' only really interested in Shroud of the Avatar and Star Citizen. And eq next if it turns out to be good...

Nostalgia is a powerful factor along with PR tweets from smed. Amazing really, there is literally zero info about this game, yet there is already a huge hype train and people clinging to it as their savior to the MMO genre. Yet those same people will literally rip into someone if they show even a smidgen of positive outlook for any other game(That actually has info out for it).
Quite hilarious. As much as I would love another EQ, watching this game blow up and the tears/rage it would create in quite a few posters on this board would amazing entertainment also.

Had a GL go nutz on all of us after the 2nd raid wipe the night that went live. Seems most of the casters including the healers where playing that in the middle of raiding. Start off with a few ppl playing it before the raid and then in the middle of buffing and trash pulls, soon most of the guild was playing it in between pulls and getting sloppy.
Ended with the GL discovering what was happening and threatening to ban ppl from future raids and having the CR ppl drag bodies over to the raid boss. Then a Nec shouted he would do free summons if they could bet his score! Ya, we didnt see him at the raids for a long time after that.
