I think EQNext has a nice window of opportunity here. The only real contender that I see on the horizon is Wildstar, but the more I read on it, the less interested I get. ESO would be a console game for me if anything due to limited/lack of UI elements.

Does anyone really expect ArcheAge to be anything new or interesting? Isn't it just another one of those games that come out every two years or so to try and gather up all the Korean MMO players into one place? I watched a single video on it, and despite being very open minded to many upcoming games, couldn't even finish the video. Maybe I missed something. I also can't stand being given chewed up bubblegum a year after it is released in Korea. Not saying this game will end up like that, but it's one of my pet peeves.

ArcheAge has nice graphics and a good engine, real physx and stuff on the mobs. But it's still an old design, boring quest grind like WoW and everything else, with a bit of crappy PVP thrown in the mix. Oh and some pirates of the burning semen bolted on too. I had high hopes original but now I don't even bother to read about it anymore.

We're anxiously awaiting eqn almost certainly a quest and grind game (hopefully in groups) and this is your stance on archage.

I don't know about that. We will see tomorrow. Kirun has impugned my honor so I'll blow 13.99 on WiFi hopefully that'll work better than Verizon.

Although I should take back my original statement, Lineage Eternal does look somewhat interesting - as long as they keep it more MMO-like and not stray too far down Diablo territory.

I think this is how the majority of people who have been reading the board since noows feel. If EQN delivers, are you going to set up on Tunare (if they use the same server naming convention), I know I am.
