And you wonder they tailor TLPs around PoP ending. You are why. You think they have the dev capacity to make some alternate timeline after pop just for TLP?

Those shitty expansions every year probably bring them a good chunk of money considering everyone on live buys it and not just 1 copy, but multiple because they all box. And even just TLP players buy it for the bonuses attached(Even if they will never see the content). You call it stupid, but they are doing exactly what every business does, follow the money. Consumer buy it, so keep supplying it.

I think its time you just might need to move on from EQ or find a nice EMU to play that can sit int he classic to pop area forever. This game has been in survival mode for a while, minimum work to keep it going to keep wringing out the last vestiges of money they can until it inevitably dies. Either accept it or move on. The chance of a miracle is minuscule.

As far as beggin DPG though, fuck that. I couldn't give two shits what DPG/DBG/SoE-renamed-yet-again does. I'm just making comments about the game just like everybody else here that doesn't actually play the game anymore. That company is literally the bane of the MMORPG industry. Fuck that corrupt ass company.

Poll is highly misleading. The 3 True box options are cannibalizing each other. Should view the results as a 45/55 split, with a lot of the 45% being single issue voters and most of the 55% as people that will just cheat and play on a truebox server anyways.

Luclin and Pop starts the stat inflation

most classes only need 2 hotbutton bars for the first 3 years of the game

I think your hate towards pop+ content is the fact there is a responsibility on the player to be able to raid (i.e. group missions) and that kinda correlates to your entire attitude.

All this time that I've been coming up with ideas for stopping the server attrition and hoping for more people to stick around to see how awesome GoD+ are (especially TSS through SoF), only to have it officially confirmed that the GoD dropoff isn't just incompetence, it's policy.

As Arbitrary said, if all of this is etched in stone than I don't consider starting later than vanilla to be a feature.

Yeah I'm with you. Fangbreaker sucking is something I can get past if its just a mistake was made. Now I see that not only did they not learn why fangbreaker sucked, they have it as their policy to do it again.

I hope the devs are shorting the company or something. Only logical explanation.
