Yeah Jeremy Soule is doing the music, which is why it kicks ass. Although, I'm not a fan of the main theme, wish it at least touched on the original.

There is a command to reset you to ground level. It warps you straight up so you need to dig perpendicular for a bit to avoid falling straight back down. This also has hilarious griefing consequences when someone digs a huge pit on their claim, which no one else can dig out of, and people fall into it.

I expect at some point we will be able to craft ourselves some kind of portal to teleport back to our own claim. It's not currently possible, you need to port to the continent it's on and then hoof it from the port-in point.

Yeah right now you can make a big trap on your claim, some one here did, and allow access to your claim. People come in the house or cave that looks neat, then fall into a big pit. Since you can't hand out permissions to anyone, they are stuck, esp if they don't know how to reset their loc. This is alpha, so breaking the game by doing this type of stuff is what we should work on. Screenies please.

Speaking of screens, is there a command for it? This game is pretty god damn beautiful in first person.

to get 1st person, hold shift+mouse wheelup, for those that don't know how

"First, if you want to hide your UI, you can use ALT+F10 to toggle the UI on and off.

Once players start coming and going and players shift as friends or whatever cause them to move. That really impacts the world. You don't want prime real estate to be held by someone who quits or moves on. You also don't want a bunch of random claim holes.

Why you have upkeep? I assume if someone doesn't keep the upkeep going they lose their claim.

Yes that will happen. Currently however everyone is restricted to one claim with zero upkeep so we have no idea what the actual cost will be yet.

Well, to be fair, I added a staircase that leads outside of my pit. They just have to find it first.

That's mediocre news, but only a little bit later than what we had guessed earlier, so not terrible.

But we have good news also. During the downtime, we talked about the Trailblazer items that have gone missing for some people. We realized it would be a "no harm, no foul" kind of thing to just simply grant them all again to the Trailblazers and Explorers.

So those of you that are NOT missing any items...well...you'll just get two of everything. You can destroy the extras if you want because they're not that useful. But for those of you that DID lose stuff, well....now you'll have a full set again.

This is not the way we'll solve this again in the future, but for right now, it's expedient and gets you all playing again.

NOTE: Unless something goes *terribly* wrong tomorrow, we will not be working Sunday. The dev team needs some sleep here and there. So that's why we're working to get a Trailblazer item fix in tonight, even if it's not the "perfect" solution. We hope you're okay with it."
