Shivering Step (The Halloween Event) is pretty fun. You need to have a character in the 20s, but luckily I just got my Paladin to 21 recently.
No spoilers, but I recommend that you have thoroughly explored the tutorial island to the point where you can navigate it blind before trying it.

At 21, I've wiped multiple times...it scratches the "solving a puzzle" itch, though.

Bumping this thread because I’ve been having a ton of fun with the game although I am essentially the exact target market as a dude with a busy job and family so YMMV.

If you’re an older MMO player who enjoys the small party grind mobs -> kill bosses -> level/gear up gameplay loop you really should check this out. The tutorial island has a solid couple of hours of content with no limitations and is completely free to check it out and if you like it the game is like $20.

The gameplay is not as super in depth as say WoW with 20 abilities to spam but it’s a fun game to mess around on“starting a group” takes 15 seconds from “logging in” and the best part is you don’t have to deal with actual turbotards nerd raging over loot or going AFK to smoke a blunt every 30 minutes

PS Someone needs to make an FOH mod where the Lumi character spouts batshit conspiracies, the toxic Caster or Tank character is renamed to Kegkilla, and the female healer is renamed to Millie. If you really want to get fancy could even make a Tyen or Salty character that is self-aware or claims the server is full of bots (but have all the bots respond in denial about it!)

I have enjoyed this so far, although I only have a couple hours into it. I even made the same mistakes as if it was a real MMO - spent too long running around solo in the first open area before making a party and doing more challenging content lol.

I am hoping to get into it more while I am off for a couple of weeks over the holiday.
