We had our cloaks restricted to clerics forever and it finally became unrestricted. Don't worry I didn't take it over a real healer.

It really does blow my mind how shitty DBG seems to be. I suppose it's possible there's a conspiracy with them getting kickbacks on RMT, but I'm not sure I buy it. My guess is they are just a shit managed numbers based CSR type position, so they go after the easiest tickets (eg names) to fill a completed work order list, while avoiding things like banning into potential legal action because it's a headache and they don't care if some Russian investors lose money to RMT.
Fippy had hacker issues but only a little spawn monopolization without kr rmt. Phinny lacked hacks but was rmt flooded, I personally prefer this given a choice. Agnarr just seems like the worst mix of both. I have little hope for future TLPs without big changes behind the scenes to DBG.
Btw, @a_skeleton_03 did those cleric mqs work out?

I haven't pushed them yet. Got busy and didn't really log on and take a heavy inventory until this last week.

This time of the year is generally a busy time for them in terms of working on the new expansion. It's unlikely you'll see much in changes in terms of the way quests are done.
I haven't played on Agnarr in months, but based on what I'm hearing and my experience with Kunark on Phinigel, I'd say Agnarr is hurting the most from the pick changes. Being able to hold a pick open with just 1 person was probably a big advantage.

I don't think you guys realize how server intensive is to have endless instances, triggered pretty much at will, been open forever.
I will like if they implement an algorithm that if more than 20 in a zone then it opens pick automatically.
Then on the hour any pick with less then 10 people on them, gets automatically merged into the largest available pick.
Also add a pick-Zone wide channel that is autojoined. For example you can say "All-Sebilis-Picks:XYC lfg", and everyone on the zone, regardless of pick will hear it.

That's pretty much how it happens now outside of the chat channel and threshold for pick closing/opening.
I feel like the threshold for the outdoor kunark zones could be lowered though since keeping these instances open is no longer viable. It not only takes a raid, but a large size raid to get new instances to pop with where most of them are now.
I camped the Shady Goblin for the cords turn in last week in WW. He's a 24 hour spawn in a zone with a threshold of 60 people to spawn a new pick. It's ridiculous when 15 people are trying to do the same turn in during prime time hours. Finally lucked out on that piece at 3:00 am only to move on to the 3 day spawn in FM which takes 50 to get a new instance.

Phinny did have hacks, one time during vulak in the beginning I took a shit and got #1 dps cause my shield of immaculate was set to auto cure. I dont think I could ever box 3 monks with epics and primal weapon swaps without it. MY FINGAZ

While I'd welcome the changes there was a "community manager" post saying there were no plans for change concerning the ground spawns. I don't really hold much weight in anything they say though. I'd love it if they did change it a bit though. I'd like to get another character into VP, but no way am I going to go deal with those camps now that the masses are competing for them.

Idk, I've made about 2k a month since agnarr opened and I only play a single account and dont farm anything. All I did was flip items in tunnel and buy Kronos in bulk for cheap and convert them into plat and then sold the plat for about 4$ profit on every krono I bought (and I've bought well over 500 of them by now).

yeah I knew lumi did that =p was obvious watching your threads that you flipped kronos for plat. I sold plat on phinigel it was a good market kunark-luclin plat was more expensive than kronos and people bought me out regularly. ps thx for buying from me<3

Ya hehe, I'm surprised I've had basically a total monopoly since the server started. Also as a side note, as a pro poker player myself I was chatting with a buyer of mine and it turns out my #1 customer is also a pretty well known pro poker player who placed 1st in the 2008 EPT main event for 3 million. Pretty funny how you just never know who you might be playing with.
