One of these doesn't make sense.

When you buy a car you compare it to other cars,
When you buy food you compare it to other food,
When you buy tools you compare them to other tools,
When you buy a video game you compare it to the cost of a burrito or cost if a drink at an expensive bar.
People paying a $10 box price is worth your daily tears alone.

It's also amusing see people in shock that a company that has used a profit model of charging for expansions, a more expensive monthly sub, and an even more predatory cash shop simultaneously for decades is now carrying that over to their other title.

if the market doesn't agree with that strategy they have multiple other options mentioned in just the last 2-3 pages here.

The eq emu model has fucked with a lot of heads tbh. People are used to getting a ton of (sometimes) great content for free or for optional donations, and that has set the bar to a certain extent.

I think a lot of people are still subconsciously putting EQL in the emu basket, despite the fact that it's not an emu.

This is understandable considering they are using an emu-based idea and two well-known emu devs.

But it's not an emu.
