1. Leveling is pretty fast so far. I'll let you know how long it takes me to get to 50 just filthy casualing it. People are already soloing POSky, so that's a good sign.
2.Only 1/3 of your class choices are locked in to start with. That leaves 2 that can be anything at all you want at any time. Worst case scenario is you don't start on a meta build. You can still pick up the most important 2/3 of it and get to 50 and unlock one of the 3 to be your primary and there you go.
3. Given how leveling works you are going back to level 1 no matter what in this scenario since you never leveled those other classes. That might be a good excuse to start over if you want to do all 3. Everyone is different in that regards.
4. They might sell unlocks for people who just really can't be bothered to get to POSky and do them that way. That's fine too. FFXIV sells MSQ skips. WOW sells xp skips. Everyone is free to pay for convenience if they want.
5. In a similar vein, you might want to have a second account to fuck around with FOTM builds. This is a one toon per server per account game. That has already been announced. I get wanting the option for alts, but it's not going to be there. I don't know if there is going to be a limit on aliases like there is for personas. They already explained the technical issue on alts. Could be bullshit. Could be incompetence. Could be both. But the limit is there.
6. This gives another end game goal besides farming everything to 50 and getting all AAs. As long as there is an in game method of doing it, I am fine with it. Obviously you are not. That's OK. By all means send feedback in if you are/will be in the beta or after it goes live. It may end up being a nothingburger that is super easy to do.
