That's what I said. For POF raid instance you start inside the ring of fire and have the 4 minibosses each 1 pull away, then CT up in the temple. For POF personal instance you start at the old zone in and everything else is up so you can farm xp and all the stuff the trash mobs drop. Same thing in POH. Raid instance starts at the two lower minis, up 1 ramp for 2 more. Maestro, last mini, and then Inny. Personal instance starts at old zone in for farming trash mobs. For the Hole raid instance starts right at the stone door before Yael. Personal instance starts at old zone in for farming everything else. Permafrost raid instance starts at the big door before ice giants. Permafrost normal instance starts at old zone in. Already explained sol b.
OW is the exact same as a personal instance now. No raid bosses, all xp and farm trash. The only difference is that you might run into people from time to time in OW.
Raid instances have the bosses up, minibosses where there are any, and very minimal trash.
Each difficulty has its own lockout timer, so you can run the bosses 5x weekly.
Sky is going to be an entirely different beast, because they want to make class unlocks available to everyone. All bosses will be up in personal instances, meaning you can clear them all on up every hour to farm whatever rare stuff you need for class quests.

I would hope you can see why they wouldn't want their Discord marinating in the level of discourse this thread has generated. You can talk about THJ all you want in game chat. You also can't swear in discord.

Well weapon scaling change is being reverted so we are back to 100% scaling at +10 and they are pulling forward spell upgrading based on the feedback that it was bad and felt shitty that everything gets resisted and casters don't scale at all. Really two massively positive announcements after a Tuesday patch that had me doubting whether they were going in the right direction.

Basically when they say personal instances they mean group or solo versions of the zone for leveling, these have no raid bosses. Like your personal instance of the hole is if you wanna level and farm rock golems either in a group or solo, Yael will not spawn there. Your RAID instance of the hole will teleport you right in front of Yael's door with like 10 trash mobs up in the entire zone + Yael and you can kill him either in a solo version or group version. The nomenclature is just weird but it's pretty clear in game because you make a raid instance at like an agent of change and a personal instance you can just make wherever.
The change to remove raid bosses from open world was made because they reduced the lockouts on raid instances so you can do them once a week for bonus loot and then every day but you can only loot one item, TBD on how exactly that system works and feels but leaving open world in when the entire game is soloable was going to be a disaster and be cool for 0.1% of people and feel bad for everyone else.

Not saying you should have gotten the time out. Just talking to the topics non grata. I tried talking about THJ and using coarse language myself, so I know they just give you the 'no no no' response. One of many reasons I despise Discord for anything.
