Guild decided to just slam all the dragons and gods. Then afterwards a couple of the 50s went to help me and another guy do our Sky keys. Was a lot of fun. Everyone was enjoying the additions to the spell upgrades.

Rerolled to experience the spell upgrade system from the beginning. Warders are putting in some work now. If you raise the lvl 8 warder spell to rank 3, it’ll summon a lvl 12 warder when you’re lvl 13 that’ll be able to cast the bst ice nuke. Originally it summoned a lvl 9 warder and you were stuck with that until you hit lvl 15. Spell upgrades will add a level to the pet each upgrade, but only up to -1 your level (unless it first summons above your level like the lvl 8 spell does when you get it). It’s gonna help with those weird pet spell gaps they have for sure. Also the added -resist to spell upgrades make casting mez and slow feel soooo much better.

Can someone give me the executive briefing on what additional systems are happening here besides just multiclassing?

I checked out a bit of stream/gameplay and everyone seems to be entirely self-sustaining to the point of near immortality? It's not clear to me where all the self healing is coming from either, as no one ever really stops to cast a heal.

If you cast a heal while targeting a mob the heal applies to you. So likely they are healing themselves during normal casting without changing targets.

otherwise they are tapping or popping LOH which comes up every few minutes.

and the scale has changed that you can fight 5-10 mobs at a time with limited health loss on the lower level difficulties

Pulled 5 yellows from the castle in CB on a D2 instance. Assumed I was very dead. Walked away with 40% health and about 20% of a level from that 1 fight. lol

As you level up the XP per kill goes down. At lvl 45 those yellows would yield about 1.5% per kill.

Did a fresh reroll on Neriak server leveling as an ogre paladin/monk/enchanter. Currently farming/grinding in Befallen until mid 20s and off to Najena for Jboots. After I acquire a pair I’m heading to Gulk hoping to get Ghoulbane and start wrecking L Guk. Having tons of fun and nostalgia playing this.

Tried upgrading healing and damage spells. Neither changed the amount healed for the damage per cast. I'm pretty sure the patch notes said both of those factors were upgradable.

Tooltips aren't accurate. I upgraded my Lifetap and it still shows the default damage/healing text, but it actually got increased by the motes

The EverQuest Legends development team is moving incredibly fast and working very hard to get the game ready for launch. As we get closer, we want to share more information about how the game will work and what will be included in the base game versus what will be offered in the in-game shop. Those details follow and we will continue to keep you updated.

Race, Class, and Deity Unlocks​


There will be Untapped Potential Achievements for all race, class, and deity unlocks, which can all be earned through gameplay. Race and Class unlocks are already in the game. A Class Unlock Token will also be awarded the first time you level a class to 50 (see below). Deity achievements and unlocks will be implemented shortly after launch.

Level 50 Achievement and Alternate Storage​


There is also a General Achievement for reaching level 50 for the first time on any class. This is a one-time Achievement that will grant a Class Unlock Token and the following additional Alternate Storage:

+50 Tradeskill slots

+25 Dragon's Hoard

+5 Activated Item Slots

+25 Equipment Slots

+25 Exaltation Slots


We will be adding ways to earn additional Alternate Storage through gameplay post-launch.

Please note that we will also continue to make adjustments to the game to make it easier to manage your inventory. These changes include alternate storage for items such as Plane of Sky Quest Runes (they will be stored as “Currency” the same way Motes are).

Loadout Slots

Based on player feedback, the starting number of Loadout Slots will be increased to three (3) Loadout Slots, and the starting number of Equipment Slots will be 50. We will be adding ways to earn additional Loadout Slots through gameplay post-launch.

In-Game Shop
EverQuest Legends will use an in-game virtual currency called Iridium (IR):

$24.99 | 2,750 IR (+10%)

$49.99 | 5,750 IR (+15%)

$99.99 | 12,000 (+20%)


The following items will be available in the in-game shop (pricing is subject to change):

    • 24-slot 80% WR Bag | 750 IR
    • 50-slot 0% WR 100 Weight Bag |1000 IR

  • AA potion | 500 IR (provides double points for the next five AAs and does not expire)
  • Name Change Potion | 1000 IR
  • Token of Reclamation (restore a lost item) | 100 IR
