The Risk vs Reward on this server is rather fucked due to the mechanics and revamp loot. I just soloed D4 fire giants and got the 2h. This required FD splitting every single giant. The Befallen sword took me two hours at level 31 to make (admittedly that was lucky)

edit: the befallen sword also has 14 strength on it which I stupidly cropped out so the gap is narrower than it looks

The loot layout is all fucked up because of the three revamped dungeons. Befallen gear rivals planar gear which is fucking dumb.

I believe the intend to revamp most/if not all zones. I think Permafrost is next on the list which should be cool since there is a billion rares in there.

I'm guessing part of their revamp reasoning is some form of high level dungeon versions of traditional dungeons (a la Mythic/Heroic) for people to run eventually.

Spreading the loot out also mitigates (to some degree) the monotonous slog of a narrow focus level path. When you have some zones that are simply leagues ahead of others (LGuk) in traditional loot, it just means everyone goes to LGuk and everything else is ignored. I wouldn't mind poking around places that have been typically avoided due to poor / nonexistent loot tables.
