Guildmate just heard about new starter tech:
Playing SK? make a loadout with necro. Autogranted ton of shit. Switch back to whatever you want.
Same goes with Paladin. You'll just get auto-granted a lot of your CLR/NEC newbie shit instantly and they stick around as your higher level Pal/SK spells. Quick 30 second trick to save some time and money.

Yeah, you can just wait until 10. Add every other class as 3rd and you get all their autogranted spells for 1-10. You will save 10s of plat doing this.

Ironically enough, I actually have a legitimate gripe with Secrets not the sort of boogmeyman situation you fabricated in your head and think about every day.
A couple of us got our hands on truebox bypass that was used for the mischief dupe via Suineg and one of the main MQ devs after they were caught and didn't plan on using it anymore as the dev didnt think it really worked. He was pretty much right because it would let you bypass but it was designed very poorly and if anyone was looking at the logs at dbg (questionable) it would have been really apparent of who was using it. At the time I didnt know enough to RE the dll, so we enlisted one of the few people that could. Good ole Secrets.
He eventually took it afterwards and provided it to at least one rival guild, and then supposedly went to dbg and gave them the sauce on how it worked.
Even after all that, Ill still give EQL a shot because ive never made a gaming decision on who the developers were. If I did, I would have quit eq 24 years ago.

Some of the planar armor still has bad stats. Being able to mix and match is nice. Hopefully their version of transmog is at launch though.
