You are correct. Though that is a kinda sorta different thing. The task system that you get those from checks your inventory before you spin up a raid. The items themselves are not lore tagged.

Not high, in the 60-80 range. And I actually see the procs hit, I just don’t get stunned. Same applies to spiroc lord and his stone spider stun

And I fucking wish I didn’t need gorg anymore. I’m down to 4 items left to unlock all classes, and 2 of them are the leather cord from him

I thought THJ leveling of items was slow but at least you put the shit in your level up power slot and got AA exp whilst leveling your item, which only had 3 levels to them. In this iteration there is 10 levels and only way to level them is farm more items, like hundreds, or use the precious motes on them. And of course there was always a chance to get the item to drop +3 so you didnt even have to level it up. Also here you have to level up your good spells too, which is yet another mote sink. In THJ they had clicky items that made your spells do 2x dmg and your heals do 2x healing.

Best way to level gear is to level up duplicate gear items to +4 or +5 and then combine them. If it’s a good item that you want to level up, combining a 0 or +1 is wasting the ability to use low level motes to power up your gear. At +7 (or 6 for those items where you can’t really farm duplicates effectively like some sky items) you are practically forced to use the 3x weekly raid motes, the cost is too high otherwise

What are some good items for any/any slots that aren't quested? I need to update these slots. SK/MNK/SHM.

Think most use shields. I’m using the SK shield from air (quest, but a really easy one to farm) and blade stopper. Might be better options though so hopefully someone has some secret sauce answers. Could always shore up a stat you are lower on like if you are under 300 dex, or want more mana picking something with a lot of int/wis.
