The accuracy thing? They added accuracy to the weapons, but they didn't plug it into damage formulas. I guess they also boosted backstab, but melee is so weak you'd not notice.

So finally got my trio to 50, some gear and AAs

start working raids solo.

Knocking out easy d4 raids and nailing some D3
Sky is boring to me especially since my good loot is locked on island 8.

wtf am I going to do for the next few months ? If I can beat d4 why do I need sky loot??

Last night I fucked up and knocked out most of the raid content. I don’t want to level other classes I love my shaman war necro.

I saw the notes on backstab damage scaling and just wondered if it helped. I haven't really strayed from the palimeta.

I'm not suggesting it's great content but here's what's kept me logging in:

Leveling OP or core classes to 50
Unlocking all classes (and playing the storage game with quest drops leading into class specific gear that may or may not be bis)
Testing out the meta builds (enc charm, bard ddd, this week testing out ranger)
Going down memory lane and visiting places you haven't been in decades (ymmv depending on when/if you played original EQ and/or emu's)
Unlocking races and finding ways to maximize factions
Even if you don't play Pal or SK, the Fiery Avenger and Torrid Corruptor quests
Other class quests

None of us are the same gamer we were 27 years ago but I spent literal days in lguk so it doesn't feel that bad to knock out a 20-35 leveling session there in a handful of hours.

Part of the allure for me with EQL is that I didn't get to do everything in the original EQ. Whether it was my guild's mid tier power level, spawn competition, or just lack of time to really grind a camp, I still feel a sense of unfinished business in EQ. I did everything there was to do in WoW for the first handful expansions so that feels "complete" to me. WoWF may be a superior re-imaging of a classic from my younger days but I just don't feel the pull for it as I do for EQL. Something, something...you'll never forget your first.

Yeah...I keep finding new things to try. Zones that I never spent time in, like Runnyeye. I'm trying to get a full set of Valorium...I just need the chestpiece to drop for a complete set now. I don't NEED better gear, but I'm still chasing some BIS items and using my 3 void motes each week to +10 the gear I do have.

I have my Paladin/Bard/Beastlord combination at 50 that can beat all the raids on D4, but beyond that I only have a 46 Wizard and 29 Necromancer. I still have plenty of classes to level up, but I'm waiting for the Alias system and future content for some of those class combinations. I got my Fiery Avenger, but I'm waiting until I play a SK (even though I don't have to) to do the Torrid Corruptor.

I've been saving a bunch of tradeskill stuff...I may dive into that at some point. I like that there's no guild counting on me to farm raids, though. If I want to take a break and go play something else for a month or two...it's not like I'm going to fall to the bottom of loot priority when I come back.

It took me longer than I want to admit to realize you could store the wind runes as currency

Also, Ranger fucks hard now at lower levels

Efreeti War Spear goes to like 20 backstab bonus at +10 now. That's pretty gnarly since 15 was the previous cap.

Also Thornstinger going offhand is really good for a lot of Knight/Rogue hybrids or stuff like mage Water Pets. With Rogues having slow poison and lifetap poison this may actually push them up a tier or two though they were pretty close to, if not at, the bottom.

I hit the same wall. I did everything except d4 Cazic, got the SK sky sword, realized I had no real reason to keep farming gear/motes, and had little desire to repeat it all over on different classes. So I am done for now. It was a fun three weeks but the game is too easy and the endgame is lacking.

Killed D4 CT, inny and naggy. Killed eye

Guess I am done ?

I canceled as well. WoW Forever from now on for me! It was nice to see some of the stuff I had heard about from my childhood, but never reached.

If you can kill D4 CT, you have beaten the game.

I got my Valorium Chestplate, completing the set, which was another goal of mine. I just did a couple dungeon crawls where I concentrated on the glare lord and tentacle terror towers and finally got one to drop. I still have a crappy splitpaw ring that needs to be replaced, but I don't care as much about that. I could optimize some other slots, too, I'm sure, but that's not really that important to me.
I work all weekend and my subscription runs out on Tuesday, which is right as I'm going to be unable to play for a week anyway. So we'll see if I resub right away or if I take a break until a content patch/Kunark. The solo Power Fantasy is still what appeals to me, so MNM/WoWF aren't really what I'm looking for. I'll definitely be back playing this...just a question of if it's in a week or a couple months...we'll see if I have a pull to resubscribe when I get back.

Canceled also and will revisit when Kurnak is live. Brought back many good memories but not enough to keep me subbed.

I hate how thunderstorms sound effects are tied to environmental sounds. I modded the P99 file to make the thunder a lot lower, but not taking it away totally. They should have done that instead. If I can do it, they definitely could have.

Same, I wonder what I did with those files.

I redid some of the door sounds too seems like. Oh and the coin sound was really ear-splitting so I lowered that a bit.

Got eye down a bunch of times and got my Fangol to +5

I will get get some voids on Tuesday and max it out or close.

Eveyday I play this game I found out I am retarded and behind the times. I was doing full clears of sky then when about to die to bee BS I clicked up to 7…

You can just invisible EoV and kill him by himself.
