We won the majority of all dps races and he and I always got along well. He left the guild after getting bullied for his political views iirc but I’m surprised he takes personal issue with me and aims to present a false narrative here. Oh well.

There was a period where RI was winning the majority of the DPS races and people were starting to leave FF. Luckily for FF, Sloan stepped in and got the guild back on track. If it weren’t for him the guild might’ve crumbled early.

Only played with faceless once and got tired of the mouth breathers. That said the "leaders", and I think I remember Sloan being in when I played, were top notch guys. Sucks about the rest of the guild =P

There were a few good leaders, then there were others that just bitched about how bored they were or how much they hated the content, while actively leading the raids.

By the time POP rolled around the competition was dead, there weren’t races and the game got pretty boring. After getting unceremoniously booted from FF for telling Zaide to quit getting his news from the women on the View, I joined QYC and noticed a huge difference in play styles. They weren’t as “tuned in” and the raids lasted about a hour longer but they all chatted with eachother during raids and seemed to be having fun.

I was actually sad to see Caligula booted, I think certain types of imbecile are good for the entertainment value. I've actually said as recently as this week "I wish we still had Caligula."

We had a few people emo out of the guild that used to be good fodder for daily trolling in our "no rules" discussion channel and the guild has been very tame since then.

That being said, many of the people who bitched about how boring EQ was while raiding are people (like me) who are stupid and have been TLPing since 2015, it's obviously somewhat of a meme because if we really disliked the game we would have just quit vs play it for the past decade+.

My memory of Ayonic is he once or twice dipped into our troll channel with usually arguments we'd already had months before on some topic, and expressed in a very simplistic way, got trolled, and ran off. But I don't remember anything particularly serious, the Teek Faceless guild in general is much more "tame" culturally than prior iterations and serious trolling doesn't happen that often.

The other thing I remember about him, is his last raid he was assigned to a raid group (we use a tool to build split raids), and he refused to join his assigned raid, joined late to another raid. I asked him why he did that and said he needed to get into his correct raid, he wouldn't respond, so I told him we weren't giving him DKP ticks if he didn't raid as told. He never responded but I also don't think he ever raided again.

And the only reason we even said anything is in our experience, if you start letting people play games with refusing to be in a split, it undermines the ability to just split raids and farm loot. The people who can't raid if they're in a split with a person they don't like should join a guild that accommodates that.

I find this so fascinating. The post prime eq drama from tlps and such. I have no idea whats actually happening but it seems entertaining nonetheless.

Im sure you guys felt the same way about all the eve drama posted about 2006-2013 or so. No idea what any of it means but love to read about it.

Miss you too buddy. It was entertaining watching the “conservatives” in the troll channel be booted from the guild one by one, knowing one day my time would come. Nothing in game was ever as entertaining as the election night meltdowns in that channel. Either way, I always got along with everyone in game and don’t hold any grudges. Hope yall are still doing well.

Catta / Sharpy both emo'd out around the same time, Yerm cried because I said mean things to him (after jerking himself off as a "Free Speech Alpha guy" for 10 years I've known him), sadly things quieted down after that.

He didn’t even mention it to anyone, and he wasn’t even really beat down anywhere close to what like Caligula or you and a few others endured daily. He like came into the crematorium twice with some vanilla maga takes and people called him dumb basically iirc.

Ah ok I still "need" to watch it. I dont remember him in that channel at all, although I missed a LOT from flipped timezones. Im also an autistic retard and wasnt sure if you had meant me at all.

I know caligula is still salty about you kicking him and I guess ion is too. I dont get it. Siirx kicked me from his shit sorta how you kicked caligula, and I dmed a few goodbyes and talked to another officer asking why and moved on. Siirx was a decent guy and I'm mostly just sorry I apparently pissed him off without even realizing; I was waking up at 5am to raid with the bros and was probably being an insufferable cunt since I'm not a morning person. Why hold a grudge? In fact, cal, buddy, I think you're a swell guy... but you should really let faceless go like im asking sieger to let me go. Move on.
