Here's meeko raiding like 6 months ago. Very badly at that. Pretty sure he did a few streams but idk if he still does. The thing that makes it sound made up is the idea that EQ employees actually play EQ.

Would you spend your free time playing EverQuest if your job was EverQuest? No one is hating on you for not digging cesspools on your free time. Here's meeko raiding like 6 months ago. Very badly at that. Pretty sure he did a few streams but idk if he still does.View attachment 631005
??? I cant speak for Meeko and Niente's life choices.Would you spend your free time playing EverQuest if your job was EverQuest? No one is hating on you for not digging cesspools on your free time.
Difficulty of missions and non-instanced content varies by expansion but generally the Claws of Veeshan expansion (which had a level 115 cap) is a bit more difficult than Torment of Velious (which raised it to 115). There are exceptions of course. So I've been playing somewhat casually on Live for a few months now and the game has changed a lot, but it's similar enough that it's enjoyable. In some ways, it's worse than expected, but in a lot of ways, it's much better. I've gotten far enough along in the expansions where the evolution of the game has really started to become noticeable.
I'm 115 now and things are starting to feel a little more 'dangerous.' Named creatures aren't like the old days where they basically just hit harder and had more hp. Some of them have boss-like mechanics that you can't ignore (unless you're way over-leveled/geared) or you'll die.
I'm not sure that I like having so many new abilities. It feels a bit like EQ2 where I just want to put them all in one macro and spam that button even if it's terribly inefficient. I can't really bring myself to do that and I'm sure it'll get easier as I get more familiar, but I still hate needing to have a massive number of keybinds. I know a lot of people mouse-click their abilities, but those people are troglodyte heathens.
I haven't grouped with anyone yet and I probably won't for awhile unless I absolutely have to. I'm not avoiding it because of them; I'm avoiding it because I don't feel proficient enough at the game just yet.
Oh it's not made up, in fact they all beta together as well and already know everything needed to know. I was in one of themThe thing that makes it sound made up is the idea that EQ employees actually play EQ.
You were attempting to speak on eq employees playing eq, so I replied in kind. don't act dumb. I mean unless you can't help it.??? I cant speak for Meeko and Niente's life choices.
In reality, you could really just stop at "would you spend your free time playing eq" to gauge if someone is fucked in the head a bit.
The fuck are you even talking about? You were attempting to speak on eq employees playing eq, so I replied in kind. don't act dumb. I mean unless you can't help it.
I can't respect anyone as a quality EQ player if they main a froglok.

The sad thing was is they didn't even make them look close to the vanilla models at all.I can't respect anyone as a quality EQ player if they main a froglok.
That's because the developers back then refused to believe their shitty models weren't worse and the new developers are clueless about them. The sad thing was is they didn't even make them look close to the vanilla models at all.
EQL uses the classic froglok models. That's because the developers back then refused to believe their shitty models weren't worse and the new developers are clueless about them.
That's because Secrets is making it otherwise it wouldn't have happened.EQL uses the classic froglok models.
