Fantasy Football: 2015 Advice Thread

West is the better pickup for now but if you have room and your league is a desert FA RBs, I think he's a nice stash as see pickup.

I wanted west but some dude is hoarding RBs. He has 4 or 5 decent starters including Bell.

Somebody in my league put in a $69 FAAB bid on West. I feel like the odds of Knile Davis, or even a street pickup like Pierre Thomas taking the lion's share of totes in that backfield are just as good as West being the lead back.

So I lost Jamal Charles which blows. He is getting old and not sure I want to take a chance on keeping him for next year after this surgery. I already dumped him on FA for the roster spots because my bye weeks don't line up super great and I needed to grab some wide outs since my drafted guys are either hurt or sucking.

Still have Forsett, Ellington and Ivory so that is still some good options in the backfield. Especially now that Forsett is running better. I'm starting Ivory over Ellington this week since Ellington was super light on carries again last week and I can't take any chances with RBs.

Anyway.

I've got this feeling that Brees is going to have a big night tonight vs Atlanta. I currently have Snead and Cooks in the line up with DT and AJ. Not sold that Smith is going to play and if he does its vs SF they might not NEED to push him. TY hasn't done shit and I doubt the colts are going to breakout against NE he want a statement game. Dvante Adams is hurt. John Brown has performed worse that both Sneak and Cooks.

So fuck it, going with two New Orleans receivers that I grabbed yesterday on FA as starters.

Was offered Julio for McCoy and Jeffery. It's tempting but only if I got him to throw in Jonathan Stewart. Tough one since those 2 have been hurt all year.

I might just be furiously pounding on the "ACCEPT TRADE" button if I were you. I mean, McCoy has been next to worthless what with being hurt and splitting carries when he does play. And Alshon has played part of one game and there's no telling how he'll be when he finally comes back.

Sounds like you'd be trading two decent injury headaches one superlative injury headache, who is actually playing. He might not be 100%, but he's still dangerous and active. If you can get him to throw in some RB that'd be swell, but if not I'd probably still take the trade while it's still on the table.

I'd have a hard time turning that trade down especially if the throw in is a reasonable RB.

Wondering what to do with Dion Lewis in my FanDuel lineups...I think he was limited in practice again yesterday and is listed as questionable.

I followed up but I think he's getting cold feet.

Run away and count your blessings that you got any value out of a Pats RB?

Really though, do you have a roster spot for someone like West/Davis(KC) in case Lewis is out? There's a few...not too terrible options that might be available. Vereen/Jennings from NY? Sankey/Andrews from Ten? I dunno, tough spot in the season. Duke Johnson?

Outside of Lewis, who is the best receiving or top targeted RB? This is my first year really getting into this kinda stuff. I will look into Grimm's suggestions. Just gotta see how they shape up against who they are playing this week.

I've got James Jones, Hilton, Blount, Duke Johnson, and McCoy for a flex slot. I don't like Jones and Johnson because of matchups, McCoy is still somewhat hurt/has been awful. I'm leaning Blount if Lewis doesn't play and Hilton if he does. Thoughts?

Match up or not I'd stay on that James Jones train if they say he's healthy. Maybe Hilton if he's not healthy and Lewis isn't playing.

Two offers on the table: L. Miller and Jordan Matthews for AJ Green or Brandon Marshall.

I think I'm going to decline both. I do need an RB1 after Charles went down but fuck it, I'll ride Yeldon and Blount to my grave with AJ, Marshall, and Hopkins holding it down at WR.

Any backs you guys suggest targeting now? I wanted to go after Hill but I already have Green and Eifert, that's too many fucking Bengals already.

How about Gurley? I don't watch college football so I'm not sure if he's a flash in the pan or if he could become a real RB1.
