Seems I had some 15 euro discount on epic games + the normal discount deal they had so ended up buying the Intergrade version for 45 euro which seemed like a decent deal. Took forever to install so haven't been able to play it yet.

I'll probably still be working at that point so I'll get the news an hour or two later.

This vaguely, sort of, resembles how I felt back in 1996 or so waiting for news on FF7. They dropped a new batch of screenshots and my imagination would go crazy.

I basically have to take drugs to feel remotely that excited about anything now. Being late 30's and ground-down by life sucks.

It would feel weird for it to be true "late game" when we lost her anyways compared to the original game, where you lose her semi early all things considered if you did any grinding/power item hunting later on.

They'd make way more cash releasing on pc at the same time since ps5 are hard to come by and this isnt cross gen.
