That’s Godbert with clothes on. With his wife. He’s the 2nd most powerful person in the game, his wife is the only thing he fears so she’s the most powerful lol. That video is from the Hildibrand quests, which are troll/silly/not serious.
The game does have a legit KotRT fight, though, which is badass

Not touching it until there's a complete edition, which will hopefully be updated to take advantage of the next consoles.

Well 3 parts should be possible, if they don't decide they want to rework the systems every game. Basically they have the engine and system, now they just need to be churning out assets, most of which don't require any creative input, simply remodelling based on the old concept art/the old game.
Probably still gonna take a while.
I guess it mostly comes down to how "full" these games will be. If they're 35-45hours RPGs each, I think it'd be worth buying but if they end up being more like 10-15hours, full price with a story I've already cleared before, I'm gonna pass until the complete game.
The timing in terms of consoles is also pretty bad, although I guess that just means they'll be re-releasing episode Midgard and maybe the next one too on PS6/XboxScarlet later on.

I'm not supporting a business that will arbitrarily determine the portion of a 20+ year old game they'll be releasing to me at a full retail price. Sorry. As I said a few times, Midgar accounts for maybe 10% of the game. If that's a full release that's a hard pass from me unless it's 10 or 15 bucks.

I could see not wanting to wait if it was a sequel or something, but this is a story we've already experienced. I don't view this as any different than any of the other remastered ones.

Obviously up to every person if they want to buy it, I'll take whatever I can get. Midgar is like 10% of the original game, but most people (including myself) that were excited for a full remake saw it as an opportunity to expand on Midgar even more, as it was one of the more memorable areas in all the FF games (not for everyone, but in general even people I know who dislike VII note that Midgar had some of the stuff they actually liked).

It's pretty clear even from the trailer they're adding more to it, though (the story I mean). If Midgar is really taking up that much space, I can only assume they're going to add quite a bit. I don't see the point in waiting even more time for it if I want to play part 1 as soon as it comes out.
