Tifa's voice actress is hot as fuck. Aerith's is cute too.

Good video.

The remake really botched the Barret/Dyne scene. That and Aerith's death being botched are the two glaring "how did they fuck up so badly" moments of Rebirth. Much like how the entire final chapter of Remake was a colossally stupid debacle.

So they basically added Gameshark codes to FF7 Remake's options menu. Jesus. It's bad enough that Square's new HD2D remakes all seem to have a toggle-able invincibility mode, which pretty much kills any need to actually put in any serious work on micromanaging your party. Why bother leveling up and making sure everyone's got a good balance of equipment / stats? Just throw on invincibility every time you fight a boss, who gives a fuck. Why even play games at that point? Just read a book.

I really hate this crap, but I think some of it has a use. Like, I liked the 4x EXP option in the Pixel Remasters of FF. That helps people who don't have time to be grinding in a game like they did in 1995. Turning off encounters is another one that's pretty good.

Where I start having issues is the invincibility horseshit and stuff like that. It's too easy to just turn it on at the slightest sign of frustration, instead of altering your party or strategy, winning on the second go, and feeling good about it.

There are a couple of options here I like. The EXP/AP boosts are good for grinding, and "fast weapon ability acquisition" is cool because the weapon abilities tended to be a bit of a pain in the ass to get due to their specific requirements. "ATB always full" could be fun for experimenting with Tifa's combos and whatnot.

They are single player games , that I assume you paid your money for. What difference does it make how you play it?
Full disclosure, at some point which keeps getting longer and longer as I find things that distract me, I'm going to play the 2nd remake game on my PC and I 100% intend to mod/toggle ways to win all those tedious ass mini-games rather than let them frustrate me like they did on the PS5 I gave away. In fact I stopped playing it on the PS5 because I intend to do it on the PC.
