I've been very puzzled by that as well. BG3 should have been a game made just for me, but I just couldn't get into it.

You guys aren’t crazy, there’s something that’s tough to pin down exactly, but it makes the game feel not quite right. I also lost interest near the beginning of Act 2. On paper it’s a game I should have ravenously devoured like so many others, and yet here I am, still having not seen past early A2.

I didn't like all the faggotry. Even if you keep killing characters for being fags they keep fucking popping up.

been out of country for a week so missed game awards but this seems funny, no clue what highguard is but i heard f2p gaas and lost interest immediately

As soon as I saw Ducklips fag mcgee I thought concord 2, shit is DOA. Which sucks because those devs know how to make guns feel better than destiny.

I didn't like the.....systems, or whatever they're called. Oil on the ground, spell synergy, etc. A little of it for BADABOOM spells is fine, but I don't want to min/max just to survive act 1 battles. It's too much too quick. Just let me launch some magic missiles, summon a skeleton and heal up at the inn.

I really didn’t like the characters. When you can’t stand any of the characters it’s really hard to get into. I never made it to act 2. Have tried three times so far. Will try again some day and maybe just kill the characters, idk. I know I’d miss out on story lines so that bothers my OCD.

Most of the companions are pretty shitty, I would agree. However, I slaughtered all of them outside of Minsc, Shadowheart, and Halsin. If one of them popped off with some shit I didn't like? Time for stabs.

It made for a much better game. The best parts of the game is the story outside of the companions and the combat/systems.

I think they did a good job with the mechanics and getting DND stuff into BG3. The overall story, meh. They had a lot of detail but the story from the start was a turn off to me.

Best part of bg3 is when you romance shadowcunt, bang her, confess your undying love to each other then the minute you beat the game she’s like “I don’t wanna tie myself down, thanks for the cock bye”.

great game with some of the worst companions of all time

I loved BG3,.maybe you guys just don't like CRPGs.

I'd be curious what % of players actually beat it. My only complaint was the levelling was so poorly paced that you have to do the entirety of act 3, which is the majority of the game if you allow it, at max level so essentially 'for free'. I just didn't use the companions I didn't like??

Yeah you will hit max level very early in act 3 even if you had gone through at a casual pace and not been someone that did every quest and such in previous acts.

I know this goes against a lot of what DND is and honestly against the part I like is the the game throws equipment at you in ginourmous amounts. It gives you more options I guess. I see it because you are not only equipping yourself and your party but a lot of others that you recruited even though you never played wsith them.
