Here's a novel concept. If you think your job or employeer sucks quit and get a new one. Kind of like minimum wage, your employer would pay you less if they could because your skill set sucks. Nobody is guaranteed a job, especially the job they want and like. Related to people that take out more in student loans than the job they are now trained for wold pay in a decade.

I know I am in the super minority. I like my job, but I've turned down a shitload of customers over the decades because the PITA factor was too much for the money. Too much pain in the ass for what it would have paid. I just don't return their calls or emails and they will eventually find someone that is desperate and will do it OR they will raise their praise and reduce the pain the ass they are. I know super novel. Like owners who can't turn on a computer that tell me how to draw something on the computer and some have literally said "No don't draw that line left to right, make it right to left". That's when I just get up and leave and they'll figure it out or go out of business or continue to employe shitty workers and wonder why their competitors make more, have lots more time off, and the average time workers have worked there is measure in decades not weeks or days.

Relying on a union to get you a good deal and set what you are worth is kind of like relying on the government to do it. Have fun.

Some retard last year on reddit told me with confidence that 50% of Americans are on minimum wage. It’s less than 1%.

There's a shitload of workers in the US that below the 1% threshold in skills. I've never worked anywhere as an adultl that anyone made minimum wage. Lots of people now think fast food should a life long career, and not only a career that pays well enough to afford a house.

Maybe work on improving their skills but nah no time for that. I have a degree, not related to what I have done for a living since dropping out of high school. I made enough to get a BS and MS in degreesI was interested in while I continued my career. I also went to college where the program had 350 students and a number of people graduated that couldn't get a letter of recommendation upon graduation even having been told numerous times without one you are unemployable in that field. Think of the student loan money.

They way to look at socialism is that at its core it wants to make everyone equal, equality of outcome. Which is against human nature at its core. No one is equal. some are stronger, some are smarter, some are dumber..etc..etc... And the only way they can achieve this is by force. Why force? Its just simply against human nature. So they have to beat down the over achievers and try and raise up the underachievers at the same time. The state owned industries does not work either. Because there is no competition. this is why all of Russias shit was, well? Shit! Only one company making a widget, and in that widget plant everyone is equal right? So why try to make shit better if you dont get anything for it? Why try to make processes more efficient? And it just goes on and on.
