I mean his argument isn't that you see a turd but can't guess it's going to taste shit, it's that you go to the Turds & Stuff restaurant and then complain to the manager that they're serving turds even though you're not planning on eating the turds anyway and some people are perfectly fine eating shit. Like yeah it's your right but you can't expect the turd chef to actually give a shit. Or another food analogy, it's like vegan ppl complaining there's meat on the menu at the Steakhouse, no one's forcing them to eat there in the first place and realistically they don't give a shit you're not going to eat meat because you're vegan, they're not making meat for vegans to begin with.
I think it's a fair enough point with people on Internet spending way too much time complaining about stuff they're not even affected by, and to a certain extent even I do that sometimes but try to keep in check. Just look at the WoW thread for example, it's half the time just people drive-by complaining about the state of WoW even though they haven't played the game in like 5+ years and sure I get it I don't care about modern WoW and am not going to play it soon/ever again but also why would I bother whining about how gay the dragons are or how woke housing is or whatever.
