The wife and I are designing the house we're going to build on some property we bought. One of the things I'm trying to plan for is protecting from shit like this.

While other Xbox versions will benefit from FSR4.1 it appears vanilla PS5 cannot get the update for PSSR-lite and will maintain its gap with the Pro version.

I've discussed this in the Home Buying thread a bit, I think, we're talking to our builder about these issues but it is difficult (without going to someone very specialized) to find a GC and builder electrical company that knows this stuff. It is all cost / benefit on how crazy you want to get.

Is this better than Steam machine? Maybe I'll just buy this.

edit: nevermind the price is way more than a steam machine which defeats the purpose.
  • Entry-Level Models: Often feature an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and RTX 5060/5070 graphics, with prices frequently hovering around $1,500 - $2,000.
  • Top-Tier Models: Equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor and an NVIDIA RTX 5080 Laptop GPU, these configurations are priced around $3,200 to $4,000 depending on regional adjustments and included memory/storage.
May as well just build my own gaming pc.
