Shit looks like Gaza. Any building that didn't immediately collapsed is probably going to have to be demolished.

It looks like the epicenter was in the northern part of the country. They got really nailed.

I noticed in the videos of the earthquake in the Philippines a while back all those people ran outside immediately and squated down and touched the ground. I guess they were used to it. They weren't running around screaming and little chance of falling over.
They say you're supposed to stay where you are inside, but your natural reaction (at least ours) was to get outside as quick as possible. And the getting close to the ground is because you definitely do feel very unbalanced.

They could havd been walking around outside before it started., it didn't go back that far. But all of them got to where they could put their hands on the ground and keep them there.

My useless info on how much power comes out of one. The '64 earthquake in Anchorage AK was huge, a 9.2 but when it hit it knocked boats off the Dow Chemical dock on the MS river halfway between Baton Rouge and New Orleans,. I know that's a massive quake but that's a long way away.

So earlier when I mentioned being off balance, that video seems to portray what the one we felt like way better. It's pretty crazy to experience. You think of the ground as pretty solid your entire life, and suddenly the entire thing feels like Jello.

Crazy. I'm one of those weirdos that has wanted to experience one, have yet to.
