Which reminds me. New girl is a bit of a kinkster. It basically helps each gender understand the strange things the other does, what their motivations are and how to read between the lines what a woman is really trying to say when she"s being all dramatic.
Reading this book I have the beyond obvious issues with my wife that the book points out, nothing major, just simple stupid shit that every couple argues about. I also reflect back on about every relationship I ever had with a woman and see how I could have helped us get along better if I remotely understood what they were really trying to say instead of just interpreting what they did as stupid annoying bullshit when in their minds they think they"re obviously stating they want my attention or love or something along those lines.
The book really helps. Even though I"m the only one reading it now and just discussing it with my wife it"s already improved our relationship. I know this isn"t a married guy thread but if you want to understand women better I highly recommend it. The author is onto some real shit inside women"s heads and ours.

Today she told me that she"s been thinking about it for a few days and she"s not ready to be anyone"s girlfriend, basically in a "we can carry on with everything like it is, but long term I don"t know if I want to be involved in anything serious" way.
I told her that I wasn"t interested in sticking around, and that if I was the kind of guy she could ever be serious with then we wouldn"t be having this conversation.

Sorry to hear that man, but if that"s really the way you handled it (it"s the internet after all, so you never know) that was pretty much the best you could have done.
