Pretty sure Judge, a pretty famous TV actor at least in sci fi circles, costs WAY more than the previous guy who was just a VA actor. The studio says its because the mocap requirements means they needed a bigger guy and the chemistry between the kid actor and Kratos

I think it was also meant to send a signal to the VA guild / union, who have been pushing hard for residuals and stuff the last few years (went on strike last year even) that they will fucking replace you without batting an eyelash, there are plenty of hollywood actors who will happily do video game voice work for "fun" and their kids and not worry about residuals and stuff

well...i mean... you could say that them bringing him back after 3 actually puts the first ending back into possibility... and the fact that what the greek gods "are" are "natural things" as explanations - so there is war, there is a god of war, and its still kratos...i suppose

no season pass, probably means a single big story DLC ala uncharted lost legacy or horizon zero dawn
I think I saw some rumors that the release date is gonna be end of march 2018

Sounds good, time to avoid any and all media until I just play it...and that will be when it goes on sale because I am a cheap bastard.

3 was somewhat "ruined" by me taking in every media and review I could.

No season pass, assuming no DLC, trailer looks amazing....... I am going to buy it for full price even if I don't play it for a year (backlog and no time). It deserves my money for hitting all the right notes.

i am so glad that kid is useful and not a crutch. i was getting worried we'd have a 10 hour escort quest. but that kid fights like tim drake. i'm happy with that.
