Man I must have some censored audio and scenes on the HBOmax version; no "dump the fucking monkey" just "dump the monkey" and it matches her lips.
I enjoyed it; and honestly the human story stuff was exactly on par with the trash human story in every other Toho film.
Homely scientist girl is oddly super hot imo, but the villain's daughter is definitely top tier.

I will echo what I have said with every film... Less People, More Monsters please.
Godzilla being so fast/quick in this was a bit of a disappointment. I prefer him to be a lumbering, inevitable doom, rather than a cracked up lizard fighting turbo monkey.

lance was director of Monarch and had filmed more scenes but it all got cut, so we could have more scenes of 11 being a moody teenager who does nothing. Pretty lame. Also the younger chick (older now) from Crouching Tiger was in the movie repping China but that got cut too, maybe its in the Chinese edition or something. I didn't realize fat friendzoned kid was same kid from Deadpool 2, he looks like he lost some weight at least. I think.

skull 2 was in mecha?
skull 3 is in the hands of whichever group the "bad guys" from king of monsters were from, i am pretty sure they were not affiliated with apex.
i didn't mind the gravitronic super vehicles...they had some thing similar to them in the later old godzilla flicks.
wife and i watched this while having chocolate covered strawberries as a snack, both thought it was a good popcorn flick- better than we thought it would be.
also wife(who is a veterinarian) agreed with me. kong is NOT an "gorilla" archetype...he is a chimpanzee.

assuming the story takes place simultaniously :
she takes off for AT LEAST 3 days with a kid( josh-deadpool 2 boy)- in a potentially stolen("my brother will kill me if he knew i took his car"(or something like that) car-possible felony-
for a road trip to meet up with a strange guy.- possible sexual assault situation..sounds like a porn plot from the 70's.
she immediately joins him to break into apex -felony
gets taken out of the country by said guy without parental permission -felony for the black guy-technically kidnapping even though inadvertant
break into another facility- felony
helps destroy property- felony due to the cost of the super computer-now granted they were trying to "break" mechagodzilla but.....
and after all that..the dad just HUGS HER- no WTF are you doing in hong kong!?!?!?!? BITCH should be grounded for a year or three.....

yes, the telepathy is how they are communicating with the Mecha godzilla from the base. its how the Ghidorah heads were communicating. even though there is no fucking brain in either skull so you wouldnt have anything, but sure, in this movie the skull is the same as the brain.

I thought this was hilarious, just cause every conspiracy photo ever produced looks like its taken with a potato phone rubbed in vaseline, so him using that killed me.
That and him saying "I wanted to hear the rest of the speech" were such good trope jokes.

The MBB character is fucking stupid and so was having the Apex cybernetics guy be a villain. How many millions of people have died in these Titan fights? It's like multiple nuclear bombs going off whenever they're fighting. The whole world should be trying to find a way to kill them when needed. But no, we need to listen to some dumb teenage girl talk about how Godzilla's a good guy.
