to be fair, i think salidor saan was not black in the books and they casted him as black because even back then people were bitching about 'why no black people brah?' its all a bunch of shit. they played the same race card on the original star wars, its why we had billy dee williams in empire strikes back.

Watching Hotah just get merc'd by the Sand Snakes was annoying though. At least show off the dude being a massive badass.

it's also pretty known that Johnny boy has a serious attitude problem and is basically a sack of shit who thinks he is the shit. He was nothing more than a token black guy in SW, who's character was created just for that reason, to be a token black guy.

The younger millennials just seem like really shitty people. Wager its another Boomer generation. And I'd expect in 30-40 years will be responsible for squandering something culturally important (ex. how the Boomers squandered the 1960s enlightenment by 1980 somehow).

Surely we've now hit the point where the people bitching about the people bitching are bitching more than the original bitchers.

I don't think anyone here is bothered that he was in it. I think he's actually a good fit...he's an odd looking Brit with a unique voice that lends itself well to the world of the show. Again, it's how he was presented that seemed really out of place in a way that was completely unprecedented in a show that's over six seasons old.

You know, Reaving, what their whole "kingdom" is about. I dont care about the trees. They would steal whatever they need. The time is annoying but doesnt make or break.

When theons sister stole 100 or so ships, did they say it was half the fleet? So they built 800 more? Or was her theft a smaller chunk of the existing fleet.

The way it came off was they stole 100 or so out of a fleet of 1000, at least this past episode. I mean fuck, if it was really 1000 new ships they had to build, forget how fast they built them, how the hell was there that many trees left at all to build them.

That arya opening scene was powerful dumb. Her chatting with the random soldiers in the woods was OK though.

The only part I think I really liked was the stuff with the hound.

Cersi and Jaime can go suck some cocks. Just murder each other already.

Sansa was OK I guess. Khalessi was nothing but CGI scenery porn.

Yeah. The hound stole the episode.

Plus Euron did have his own pirate fleet, however many ships that was.
