Looks like it's just a reflection from Jon Snow's hand. The speed the darkness falls across the eye is the exact same as his hand landing just to the side of it.

The NK isn't some chump ass white walker. He is strong enough to throw a spear with more force than the most powerful ballista in westeros. Even Aarya wouldn't be able to parry a blow from him.

Disagree. If you slow it down and play it in slow motion, clearly see it opening. Camera moves up and focuses on Jon then, but after he emerges more from the water it pans back down again and eye is in focus once more fully open. If this is completely coincidental, it's pretty crazy.

Maybe Bran using it to look in on things, no idea. If it's camera lighting, it's pretty crazy.

it's just an artifact of focusing out from the hilt to jon snow. everything in the foreground got blurry and darker. its nothing.

This is how people become conspiracy theorists. They start by over-analyzing their favorite tv shows.

So Dany tells Jon she can't have children and that's why the dragons are her children. In the books I seem to remember after she flies off with Drogon and flees Mereen or wherever, she starts bleeding again. I'm sure this is book stuff irrelevant to the show but just something I was trying to remember.

Also I'm pretty sure that's how her book arc ends so it literally could be nothing.

It's not coincidental. It's a reflection, so it's exactly what you'd expect to see. Watch how quickly the black appears (hand slams on the ice), the watch the black slowly wash over the rest of the eye (his hand slides from right to left). It's all timed perfectly. It's a reflection

If you notice when they panned out to the wide shot you could not see the curvature of the icelands. Also one of the dead appeared to be reptilian in nature. Far too many scales to be human.

Debate rages for days. Everyone decides it is a shadow, a CGI shadow made to appear to be an eye. Next episode airs. Longclaw starts speaking to Jon at night when he is all alone and says,"The Night King did nothing wrong".

Notice how Jon traveled back and to the left as he allegedly plunged into the frozen lake.

sorry, now that i think about it, i think i see bran waving in that eyeball, yeah thats the ticket.

It has nothing to do with a focus racking artifact. The eye gem is faceted. The reason it looks like a pupil opening is because the middle most facet catches the shadow first. Here are two screen shots from after the supposed eye opening. You can see dark and light reflections bouncing all over it
