Honestly I look at that award as an cumulative achievement for the entire run (similar to what the oscars did for Return of the King). The only other Emmy it won was supporting actor for Tyrion. Lost out on the directing and writing. For as many nominations as it had, GOT actually did not have a good night last night.

It really sounds like they took the books and wrote their scripts directly from them until they ran out of material; then it went from sometimes bad to all the time bad. Fucking morons failed right into a Star Wars trilogy.

it doesnt explain how they decided to turn him into a mustache twirling idiot. before they ran out of material he was on track to own all of westeros behind the scenes. then he pimps Sansa out to a rapist and involved himsolf in petty squabbles with her sister. then fatally outsmarted by a 12 year old. jesus.

He's obviously going to end up with a similar shitty stupid death if fatty ever finishes the books. He was never going to win the game or even survive it, and there's really no way you can kill off a mastermind written the way Littlefinger is written without it feeling stupid.

People also say their Netflix deal is $250m over 10 years, but thats only if Netflix sticks with it. Netflix is gonna pay them some amount of money to deliver something first, and if they like it they can continue for another 9 years or whatever paying each time but they can also just walk away after the first thing.

Given these hilarious statements, which almost feel like parody or some sort of huge prank being pulled by them but is probably not, I have to imagine whatever they shit out first is gonna be so awful that maybe they'll become the unintentional Roger Cormans of this generation.
