That's the exact same explanation that didn't convince anybody last time it was posted. I believe he's dead, but just because it doesn't make sense for him to be alive. The director of a show renowned for gratuitous nudity and violence saying they didn't show Stannis dying on screen because it would have been gratuitous? Anyone convinced by that who didn't already think Stannis was dead is a fucking retard.

I think its a pretty safe assumption that Jon Snow is dead after the attack. The cliff hanger part is if he STAYS dead.

I get that, but the guy you idolize and seemed to completely support...who went out of his way to give you a position where you could learn judgment/etc from...tells everyone about the threat that is out there (that even some of those that helped betrayed Jon have seen first hand at the Fist of the First Men) and you decide you know better than he does. While watching all these Wildlings come through and put trust that they won't be killed by their mortal enemies of thousands of years, and the idea that Jon is right doesn't even register?
Desire for revenge I get, the mounting stupidity to ignore the obvious I don't. Kill the kid. He's a detriment in the war that is to come.
Every scene with Olly was the same shit over and over. He lacked any subtly and was poorly written but the writers seemed to love him and figured watchers would too. He was everything the book readers dislike about the show all rolled up into one character.
