I suppose Melisandre could simply use Jon's remains/blood to summon Azor Ahai2u. Kinda like the dragons were born from Drogo's pyre.I still don't think Jon Snow has to be special. It is just like Martin to put that effort into us wanting him to be important but he really isn't.
What do you mean by this? Up until people from the NW traveled to Hardhome? Jon didn't go there in the books, and there wasn't a first hand account of the massacre there as it was happening in the books either.Because that is how the books were written up to that point.
Confirmed Conan O'Brien is replacing Sophie Turner as Sansa next season.
I'm thinking he either leaves the watch to their suicide watch, or he goes and gathers up the wildlings. I don't think there's gonna be a lot of Forgiving going on at all. It's just a question of letting his bruthas be a speedbump for team necrom, or murderfying the ones which stabbed him.what do you guys think Jon Snow will do when he's rezzed? slaughter the fucks that betrayed him? my friend said he thinks he won't do anything and forgive them, which sounds like a total jon snow move. i'll be pissed though because that's pussy shit.
S06E01: Melisandre, Onion Knight, Tormund and some Wildlings leave Castle Black with Jon's body.I'm thinking he either leaves the watch to their suicide watch, or he goes and gathers up the wildlings. I think it would make more sense if he just left them to die on their ice wall. He doesn't need to take revenge. Winter will take revenge for him.
Edit: You know. Let them go to hell their own way. It would be a very Neddard thing to do.
One of the people in charge of the show.Who is the person between Mel and Gilly?
That was my argument from the book. These guys in the Watch, they know, without a shadow of a doubt, that the old stories are true and the dead are rising up. They know that leaving the Wildlings on the other side of the wall would basically just be giving the coming army another regiment. And they surely know that they are going to get good and fucked after Jon gets killed. But Olly is just emotional, he's a kid, you can't expect him to weigh all of those consequences. All he knows is that not just any Wildling, but the exact Wildling that his mentor has taken to hanging out with, murdered everyone he knew.I get that, but the guy you idolize and seemed to completely support...who went out of his way to give you a position where you could learn judgment/etc from...tells everyone about the threat that is out there (that even some of those that helped betrayed Jon have seen first hand at the Fist of the First Men) and you decide you know better than he does. While watching all these Wildlings come through and put trust that they won't be killed by their mortal enemies of thousands of years, and the idea that Jon is right doesn't even register?
Desire for revenge I get, the mounting stupidity to ignore the obvious I don't. Kill the kid. He's a detriment in the war that is to come.
