It's come up before. She holds her lips just right on the show so that it magnifies her big ole buck teeth. When her face looks normal and she's not in grubby wildling rags, she's quite hot.

Maisie has lost a lot of weight. During her scenes with the hound it was getting hard for her to look boyish.

Something like that does make sense and I've never really thought of it before. There's power in king's blood and all and he's most likely double king's blood. Targaryen blood and King in the North blood.

Because that is how the books were written up to that point.
What do you mean by this? Up until people from the NW traveled to Hardhome? Jon didn't go there in the books, and there wasn't a first hand account of the massacre there as it was happening in the books either.

I could see it making sense to send him there as one of the viewpoint characters (and since the show has actually been trying to show NK/WW's doing something unlike in the books where they basically are off-screen the entire time), but that's where the trolling would come in hard having Jon seem so important not just as the adversary to the NK but the NK seeming to take interest in him specifically.

Either way if they don't reveal his parentage at some point I will be supremely rustled, even if all the rumors about it have been a red herring. It could very well be his blood alone will end up being special, but even if that's the case they would have to make the connection of R+L=J

His character was written as too integral to the story to die. So even if they put new scenes in with him against the walkers and all of them he needed to look like thee most important part of the story. That way all the book readers are still excited about him and chuckling about how pissed their friends will be during the finale.

They could be easily trolling everyone now with word games. He could still be important. I am just saying I can totally see him just being dead and written out.

what do you guys think Jon Snow will do when he's rezzed? slaughter the fucks that betrayed him? my friend said he thinks he won't do anything and forgive them, which sounds like a total jon snow move. i'll be pissed though because that's pussy shit.
I'm thinking he either leaves the watch to their suicide watch, or he goes and gathers up the wildlings. I don't think there's gonna be a lot of Forgiving going on at all. It's just a question of letting his bruthas be a speedbump for team necrom, or murderfying the ones which stabbed him.

I think it would make more sense if he just left them to die on their ice wall. He doesn't need to take revenge. Winter will take revenge for him.

Edit: You know. Let them go to hell their own way. It would be a very Neddard thing to do.

S06E01: Melisandre, Onion Knight, Tormund and some Wildlings leave Castle Black with Jon's body.
S06E02: The Night's Watch is overrun by White Walkers (maybe this is too fast, but fuck they've been moving too slow all along anyway, and Castle Black is really getting boring.
S06E03: Melisandre either resurrects Jon or raises Azor Ahai from Jon's remains. Whether it's the same actor or not, he will now have white hair or a white lock.

I get that, but the guy you idolize and seemed to completely support...who went out of his way to give you a position where you could learn judgment/etc from...tells everyone about the threat that is out there (that even some of those that helped betrayed Jon have seen first hand at the Fist of the First Men) and you decide you know better than he does. While watching all these Wildlings come through and put trust that they won't be killed by their mortal enemies of thousands of years, and the idea that Jon is right doesn't even register?

Desire for revenge I get, the mounting stupidity to ignore the obvious I don't. Kill the kid. He's a detriment in the war that is to come.
That was my argument from the book. These guys in the Watch, they know, without a shadow of a doubt, that the old stories are true and the dead are rising up. They know that leaving the Wildlings on the other side of the wall would basically just be giving the coming army another regiment. And they surely know that they are going to get good and fucked after Jon gets killed. But Olly is just emotional, he's a kid, you can't expect him to weigh all of those consequences. All he knows is that not just any Wildling, but the exact Wildling that his mentor has taken to hanging out with, murdered everyone he knew.
