This is all from Winds of Winter. Fans were allowed to choose which preview chapter was read and in response GRRM said ?The Greyjoys have it, you sick motherfuckers.? Also warned that any children had to be taken out of the room and that it would appeal to Ramsay fans. It's clear that Winds of Winter will cover both S6 & S7, so this preview chapter is all S7 spoiler material unless D&D deviate heavily from the books.
TWOW Chapter Summary - Google Docs
The most relevant points that are indisputable.
1. Euron is sailing south--for conquest, plunder, and
dragons.
2. The Dragonlords controlled their dragons through other means than loyalty, which is basically the only think Daenaerys has going for her.
"Valyrian Dragons were controlled by whips, magic horns and sorcery"
3. Euron has been to the Doom of Valyria. He has a far greater knowledge of dragons, blood magic, and the lost arts of Valyrian society than Daenerys, or anyone else in the world.
Euron did not lie. He has been to Valyria. No wonder he was mad.
4. Euron has both a dragonhorn (Dragonbinder) and sorcery (explained later), potentially easily giving him complete control over Daenaerys' dragons.
Moqorro says whoever blows the horn will die but any dragons that hear will obey the horn's master.
5. Euron reveals himself to have a suit of Valyrian Steel armor. Only the most powerful of the 40 Dragonlords had access to them, and not even the Targaryens, who were Dragonlords, are known to have had owned something of this power. What is does is unknown, but it's probably pretty powerful.
Euron Crow?s Eye stood upon the deck of Silence, clad in a suit of black scale armor like nothing Aeron had ever seen before. Dark as smoke it was, but Euron wore it as easily as if it was the thinnest silk. The scales were edged in red gold, and gleamed and shimmered when they moved. Patterns could be seen within the metal, whorls and glyphs and arcane symbols folded into the steel.
7. He likely has access to the lost Valyrian blood magic. Magic which allowed the Valyrians to control dragons, and rule an Empire, and rivals that of the CotF. This is significant, if true.
?Words are wind but blood is power?
8. He's sadistic as fuck, with unclear motivations, possibly trying to destroy the Old Gods, the New, and the Lord of Light, and replace them (explained by following foreshadowing). He cut out the tongue's of his crew, killed all of his brothers, and with GRRM's comment makes Ramsay look like a kitten.
The men joke about Aeron apparently knowing what it is like to be taken from the rear (confirming the molestation from Euron)
9. He's clearly has supernatural motivations. Euron has been imprisoning priests of of all religions and binding them to the bows of his ships.
He is joined by priests of other religions
Priest of the greenlands.
Priest of R?hllor-Man with burned face and arms
Warlocks, one without legs (?!) and and he keeps shouting ?Pree? as he hangs. He assumes ?pree? is the name of the demon that he worshiped.
Septons make soft noises but their tongues are likely cut out.
Aeron questions in his mind why Euron is collecting priests.
10. Further foreshadowing of him on the Iron Throne. Very similar to the visions from other characters, including Daenaerys herself.
Euron on a throne of skulls and dwarfs are running around. (Seems vaguely similar to the dwarfs (Tyrion?) Dany see is in House of Undying.)
Saw longships burning
Euron on Iron throne, changed into a kraken-like figure with tentacles
Accompanied by a long, tall terrible woman, shadowed, with hands of white fire, standing next to him
Male and female dwarfs are running around naked and copulating and fighting
Euron and the woman laugh.
11. He may be trying to kill the God's. The Old Gods, the New, the Drowned God, and the Lord of Light.
Blows a horn and sphinxes and other creatures bow to him
?Euron says, ?Look and see what I am seated on.??
Skull throne replaced by Iron Throne with all the different gods impaled on it
The seven hung around him, the goat, the pale child Bakkalon (thanks /u/tjtjjtjt), the butterfly god, the red god. And the drowned god, with crabs, and sea water dripping from his hair.
12. The God's may
actuallyfear him.
Heard Drowned God say Euron cannot be king--king should be?[long pause] he doesn?t say
Yeah. This guy is totally just a side character and is going to be a non factory in S7. Fucking retards, I can only be wrong if D&D stray heavily from the books.
